I was lucky enough to perform with Lauren almost 10 years ago, and she’s one of the nicest people ever

The fact that she needed to be on that show at all after The Greatest Showman is absurd.

She didn’t, she could’ve walked into ANY record label and they would have signed her day one. She chose to go overseas and enter BGT. It makes zero sense.

@@joshuacoldwater Marketing and social media. We've seen plenty of recent examples of record labels being somewhat antiquated and disadvantageous to the performing artist.

It’s amazing how many people hold themselves back because of their shyness. The beauty of her voice is magical.

Anyone who watches musicals knows who Loren Allred is, she's an amazing vocalist. And this was a dream come true for Simon, this is his favorite song. She did an awesome job! ❤

That was an amazing performance! Truly a remarkable and talented singer!

Loren isn't nervous here, she's sung this song many times on stage before this. She's purposely breathing in a certain way to reserve her voice for the large vocal parts.

I see her “ nervousness “ in the beginning as intentional and part of the story behind the song.

What you call nervousness is her true emotion that can only be heard outside of a recording studio. This is one of the greatest live performances in the history of music. Brilliant and Iconic.

If you haven't seen anything else from The Greatest Showman, I would definitely recommend looking into it. It's a movie musical about PT Barnum, starring Hugh Jackman, and it's pretty stellar. I would specifically recommend the "rehearsal" videos of "From Now On" and "This is Me," because you don't need the context of the movie and you just see the unadulterated joy of the singers sharing these magical moments together.

I don’t think she was nervous at the beginning. Regardless of what she says about being more comfortable behind the scenes, she definitely is a veteran stage performer. Her breathlessness and hesitation is in the style of the song.

In the movie the song starts kind of weak and vulnerable like that…she out did herself ♥️

There’s no NDA issue, it’s always been very clearly credited that Loren sang the song and the actress Rebecca Ferguson was lip syncing, Rebecca herself talked about it publicly in many interviews, so this isn’t a secret. It’s just most people never really looked into production info to really know.

As much as I loved this performance on BGT 2022, there is a new video available from 1 month ago that has Loren taking this song to new heights on AGT Fantasy League 2024. Well over 4 million views already, over 100,000 likes. I’ll post the link separately in case KZread takes it down, but you can easily find it as it is marked “Early Release”.

The song is from the movie, The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackman about P.T. Barnum from the Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was bought by the Ringling Brothers after Barnum's death in the early 1900s. The Ringling Brothers ran the two circus attractions separately, but then merged them into one circus later. It became the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and then just the Ringling Brothers Circus. I have great memories of being able to attend the Ringling Brothers Circus a few times when I was a kid. It was an amazing circus. And P.T. Barnum was an amazing showman from what I understand. P.T. Barnum is probably the one person who made the circus one of the most sought after attractions for small towns at the time. Sadly, they had some issues with their animal attractions and allegations of animal cruelty which led to the circus no longer touring. It's a great movie musical and well worth watching with a lot of other really great songs as well as this one. The whole soundtrack is winner.

She did get credit for singing it. So no NDA needed. I think she was also on The Voice but didn't get far.

If you have Never seen the Movie the Greatest Showman you need to watch and review it . Definitely an all time favorite !

Loren allred done amazing job with this song but I still think that morissette Amon did it better that's my opinion
