Well it's sadly true, some famous kids do it bcs they have the privilege and advantageous routes to acting bcs of their famous parents and don't reach that level of commitment to acting, and some were probably even pressured to live up to their parent's legacy so they decided to do them. Quite few nepos like Patrick genuinely hone their craft for acting bcs that's what they're passionate about and actually took their serious effort and dedication to perform. But all I can say is the old generation of nepo actors serves much better than the ones we have in the newer generation. Not only acting, but just celeb nepos overall.

Outside of his parents by forcing him to be injected with Compound V, Brink forced Luke to be a subject for experiments in The Woods and lied about it, Cate, his girlfriend, covered up everything by erasing his memory even making him believe Sam died. Andre, his best friend, betrayed Luke by sleeping with Cate, Jordan betrayed Luke by knocking him out and covered up those incidents with Brink, not to mention Indira. Everyone Luke loved and trusted eventually betrayed him

That's just called social networking were you build your career not only with your skills and talents but also getting close to people who are veterans in your field of work. Whether it's the entertainment, manufacturing, or commerce, if you want to get successful in life, you gotta have good connections and use those advantages otherwise, you'll find it more difficult to achieve your goals without social networking. I can see that you're a fan of basketball based on your profile pic. Even all of NBA players went through some form of social networking in order to get to where they are now. From getting close to good agents and managers to getting good sponsors, there's always some form of finding and building connections with those who are already at top of the economic hierarchy.

SPOILERS FOR LATER EPISODES IN SEASON Its pretty fucked up that Golden Boy was seemingly a good person, and not a stereotypical college bully. Yet he died almost being cheated by everyone. He was betrayed by Brink, Cate, Andre and for the only person that didn’t betray him(Jordan), Luke suspected them of betraying him.

Wrong. Episode 6 confirmed that Jordan also betrayed him, Jordan were aware the experiments Luke suffered, although only to an extension. Literally everyone he loved and trusted ended up backstabbing him. His parents, his mentor, his girlfriend and his two best friends. So it makes sense he snapped and collapsed

Both shows are great and have entertaining fight scenes but they could really use a good fight choreographer. Also crazy how Jordan v Golden Boy did more damage than Soldier Boy v Homelander. Edit: the bad fight scenes are because of bad choreography not because of the level of fighting skill the character has

Love how they found a way to write off the most expensive powers and actor in the first episode.

Hollywood seems very fractured from the media but despite the overall mood Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kurt Russel’s sons are decent actors, good to see them taking rolls that take thought, nor just riding the fame of their fathers.

This is a great series. I am looking forward to season 2. These actors are all fantastic!

Golden Boy at his peak would’ve been something crazy, especially if they really thought he would be able to surpass Homelander. Do you guys think Homelander would’ve just let that happen or do you think Vought would’ve gave Homelander the Soldier Boy special??
