Have to say it doesn’t inspire much faith in the police. If I were his boss I’d be worried about how he represented his profession. He clearly lied without remorse if I were his mates I wouldn’t congratulate him on theft

That guy is an absolute hypocrit. The fact is, one job of a policeman is to deal with people who steal money (possibly from banks or from other people), and then to do it yourself is the kind of thing that should get you fired for doing something he would usually be tasked with preventing.

Police forces have one of the highest rates of psychopathy amongst existing professions. You can see it in action. Not the smallest bit of remorse or shame. Lying was the easiest thing ever for him. His wife gets to go on holiday but not sure that show is good news for her.

It was obvious he was going to steal, he was saying he was going to split but his head kept moving 'no'. His body was saying the opposite of what he was saying. ( I also think she actually picked that up, when she said she was not sure about the ball she had picked)

Yeah man, I’m ~90% accurate at detecting liars, her eye contact and nervousness threw me. Turned out copper mate is just stone cold with very little tells

Same here... I have a degree in psychology which I studied for three years to get..... Her eye contact and nervousness also threw me... I HONESTLY thought she was going to steal. Yes, I know we can all be wise after the event, However, I watched this three times and I think the Police officer could well have psychopathic tendencies... He showed no genuine remorse for his actions. Also lying was very easy for him to do..... Psychopaths and Narcissists are very good at lying, They are masters at manipulation... They just see people as inanimate objects to "Use" Police officers have a very high rate of Narcissists and psychopaths out of all professions... They are drawn to this line of work... They get to assert control over people. This provides them with "Narcissistic supply" I am normally pretty good at detecting if someone is being deceitful..... Around the 85% to 90% accurate mark... Maybe it is but they take an oath against crimes plus are representing the law in Britain everytime they are in and out of uniform. If he was unhappy about his salary he should consult a union or choose the split ball. People can't have it both ways. I really wish she would have chosen the steal ball that would have been way more epic. Scumbag copper cant do the time OR the crime.
