I just purchased several colors of the Open acrylic line for some paintings I would like to hang in my home. I’m trying something abstract for the first time. I like that I will be able to work with these longer before they dry out. Fingers crossed!

How can I thin my regular gel matte?

Close you can easily mix Golden Acrylic mediums together to make the perfect consistency you need! If you find the gel matte medium to be too thick, but the matte mediums to be too thin, you can just mix the two for an "in between" viscosity!
Will golden open paints work well when mixed with other acrylics in paint pours?

That's a great question! All acrylic paints should work together in the paint pouring technique. The one thing that you might notice is that the higher professional level paints will overpower the lesser-pigmented student grade acrylics. So, the higher the pigment load, the less acrylic paints you need to use and mix into your pouring medium!
