Any Spurs fans sceptical about Ange I can understand. Although I'd argue this is what they said they wanted after Mourinho, Nuno & Conte, he's the type of manager who's not gunna bend his principles even a little, which makes them easier to beat - we had this with Sarri. The football will probably get better but I doubt the results will ever have consistency with him, and feeling like your club isn't progressing is something no football fans likes. Pochettino should be given next season for sure. Our owners are at fault for this mess, neither Potter or Pochettino are bad managers at all. As long as Poch continues to make progress, which he has (slowly) this season, it doesn't make sense to remove him unless we had a clear upgrade lined up. If Tuchel coming back was a genuine possibility? That's worth consideration as he's such an upgrade. Otherwise let him work.

Ange isn't going anywhere, especially if we lose to City
Im a Spurs fan and I have no desire to see Ange replaced. He has to be backed over the summer so that he can continue the rebuild. Social media has killed football, the modern fandom is a horrible place, too many flip flops and it's way too easy for people to get a platform.
I like how Poch turned the question against the journalist today in the Pre game presser. When asked about how the owners would react to his work and should he be able to retain his job ? He then asked them, " What about me n my team ( coaching )?, maybe we are not happy with the owners or sporting director performance, maybe we walk away because we werent impressed with their performance " ... that reply from him kinda shut all the stupid questions about his job that they keep asking him weekly recently.
Finally, its clicked!! I tried to make this point on a UTD stand video about 6 months ago and got totally slaughtered in the comments, even by some older fans. För Me, It is a societal problem wherein the youth of today are encouraged to have hyper short critical attention spans without learning the necessity of patience which the older generations learnt through boredom and self internalization
Pep, Klopp and Arteta are the best managers and have been for a while esp. Pep and Klopp. They are also the longest serving managers, you need to give managers time. But managers need to stop copying others. I see almost every team wants to play same way and want possession football. Not every opponent are same. Managers need to get creative and start working the team with good transitions not holding the ball for 5-10 mins to take one shot on goal.
Why do they need a panel? Look at how parliament and the large companies are run. They have committees to decide on decisions and stuff. It's just job churning.
@risheeeesh512
24 күн бұрын
This is naive, the panel is literally these KZreadrs but for older generations who don’t watch KZread. It’s extra analysis of the finished premier league matches.
Fair play to Burnley for keeping Kompany hey never panicked they love the style of football and know they can go again in the championship
No way that VAR will ever be dropped now, there is far too much money invested in the technology and provides a nice little earner for all involved. The only thing required was goal line technology. The ordinary fan has had no say whatsoever in this, but 'KZreadrs' love it because it gives them so many points of discussion.
Some fans have very wild imaginations . They would replace a 15 goal striker for a guy in Brazil because somebody called him a wonder kid and they saw a KZread clip
Any club that will not give a manager 2 seasons ( barring personal issues) can not be taken seriously. Fans that won’t give a manager 2 seasons are not to be taken seriously.
Do you own premier league panel. Bring on members from other fan channels to analyze each decision. Then have votes/polls on the channel. Then have a review video of each decision in how people voted. And continue the process. Perfect for That’s Football
The premier League panel is stupid it's like closing the stable door when the horse has bolted
I’m not a UTD fan (I’m Everton) Mark but I subscribe because you are very entertaining. Keep it going mate.
"With opinion comes responsibilty" is a valid point. You can't be like sack a manager and then not know of a suitable replacement. Plus managers like poch and ange haven't been given enough time.
Howard Webb wants to clear the bad reputation that Michael Oliver carries by portraying that Michael Oliver can do well in big games where Man City is involved. Ofcourse any subjective decision will go Man City way
As a Chelsea fan I’ve reserved judgement on Poch all season and whilst it’s been a difficult season I think we’re finally starting to see his plan come together. Seems popular with the players too, definitely stick by him.

As a Spurs fan, we always knew this season was going to difficult. I think if you'd have offered us fifth place at the start of the season, we'd have taken it. Remember, certain pundits were expecting us to finish midtable after we sold Kane. That said, Ange isn't entirely blameless, questionable decisions around not making subs, playing sub-par players, sticking with tactics when it's clearly not working etc, but these are all things that can be ironed out. Arsenal are the best example of sticking with a manager, and rebuilding your team. 3 seasons ago, Arsenal fans were calling for his head, and now, the same fans think he's the greatest manager ever.

Everyone has their own point of view. Remember what Obi-Wan said, “The truths that we cling depend greatly on our own point of view. Chelsea fan here but Michael Oliver has another conflict of interest in the FA Cup Final, self confessed Newcastle fan and had a quote from a few years ago that he can’t referee matches with competitors of Newcastle in the league, think he used Villa as a reference as the quote was from when Newcastle were fighting relegation, if Newcastle finish in the Conference League position in the league it benefits them if City win the cup as they will get the Europa League spot that usually goes to the FA Cup winner and the conference league position goes to the next placed team in the standings
Its always enough of it but still it never stops
In thr Brentford v fulham game ajer had his nose broken from a high boot and not even a yellow was shown.
X - Unknown quantity. Spurt - Drip under pressure. = Expert
5th behind arsenal, city and Liverpool and an excellent villa team. idk i dont think he is bad at all
Some of it could do with Alonso as well, typically having the right manager doesn’t mean you’ll win every game, but by genius, fluke or a combination of both Alonso and Leverkusen have had a special season. Some fans probably think they should be sacking managers because of the chance to get that sort of manager
What you said about the panel is the argument for people wanting managers gone.
If the PGMOL have a policy in place to prevent referees from working games that involve local derbies (Liverpool vs Everton for example). How is it deemed impossible for refs to impact other games due to alligiences (top 4, relegation, title etc) Makes no sense and opens the door to corruption and bias.
Spot on mark, I also feel people forget that spurs had an injury crisis as well.
It's interesting as I would say it's the opposite for some managers. For example, David Moyes. Overall he has brought much needed stability to the club and overachieved by getting them Europe and a trophy. However, over the last 2 years the results have been abysmall and all the statistics point to him being a sub-par manager. Yet West Ham fans are hounded in the media as being "ungrateful" and "entitled" for wanting him out. Anyone that supports a "top 6" team has no valuable opinion on the matter. You see us clubs as mediocre and why should we strive for more. It's bang out of order
