Varane was in and out throughout the season , mainoo injured stated his first game in December , hojlund in and out cuz of injuries and it’s his first season as a young lad still did exceptionally well despite the services, maguire in and out injuries , evans same thing so only Dalot Bruno garnacho is consistently playing

I absolutely love Mark. Followed him for a long time and love when he turns up on other channels and platforms aswell. Always insightful and thoughtful and well researched. Plus it helps I'm a huge Alan Partridge fan and he is the Partridge of football with some of his comments. "Pigeon now....", so subtle and he knows it, but very clever and funny. Had to pick myself up off the floor and watch it a couple more times.

our fanbase is just stupid. theres no other way of saying it they are goldfish they cant remember anything past 3 games, they all changed their tune on bruno after he got injured on a 4-0 palace game when we’ve also shipped 4 against brentford watford and 7-0 anfield spanking all with him in it…

Watch awb last season, he was dribbling every game and trying to at least make things happen. He has no confidence this season. But vs City he did unbelievable vs doku 1 on 1 with no help from Garnacho. The one time Garnacho covered doku he scored so awb defensively especially vs teams like Real Madrid or city could be handy

Agree something doesn't look right. It wouldn't surprise me if it came out that he's been playing with an injury because he doesn't look as fast or able to turn as quickly as last season. If he has been playing while injured then fair play, as we know a lot of players who don't

Onana has the best shots to save percentage in the league. He’s just faced double the amount of shots than other goalkeepers. Onana will get better, he will live up to his potential people expected from him from inter, he just needs a better defence ahead of him. I’m a chelsea fan so I have no horse in that race.

@@peytonbond4886 my point is that he had the best save percentage in the league but also face almost the most shots. People praising Raya but he saved half the amount of shots as Onana did. I think of Raya faced the same amount of shots he would have made some horror mistakes also, as all keepers do now and then, so if you literally have double the amount of shots faced than another goal keeper, then it’s likely you’ll have double the amount of horror mistakes. So we notice all of those mistakes and tally them in our mind and forget all the good things he’s done. Which is typical human behaviour really. I’m not certain though, it still feels like he’s made more horror mistakes per shot than other keepers, even if he had saved a higher percentage of shots than other keepers. Hard to tell.

Bang on about Varane, he's been a colossus in that United team this season; absolutely world class player and will be severely missed next year.

Does this not show the main thing united need to do before investing in new players etc is invest in better facilitys etc to help prevent all the injurys update the medical rooms and so on. I recall ronaldo saying the facilitys were basically the same as his first spell at the club. The owners need to do something about that because just look at the sheer amount of injurys

Without cup result, all would have at least 2 less points across the board😂 this is WAY too high. With ratings like that, you should be fighting for the league. There’s almost as many 8s here as I’d give to our Liverpool players.🤷🏻‍♂️

Onana has a much higher xG saved than De Gea. He has much more crosses claimed and unlike DDG actually did a good job in the FA cup final. He doesn't coward in the goal when in a position in which he's able to come out and make himself more available for building up or stopping an attack. UCL aside (which was terrible), Onana has been better than DDG.

No he hasn’t 😂😂😂😂😂 if we still had DDG we would have been in the champions league knockout stages we would be higher up the league less goals conceded so onana been better yet been at fault for double figures in goals this season especially towards the end of tne season should saved palaces 2 goals gived away a pen against Burnley should have saved Bournemouth 2 goals and was at fault for Chelsea goal and he’s conceded 80 goals but yh he’s better then DDG😂😂😂

In the Europa league vs Sevilla and FA cup final? All this whataboutism is pointless. Both our eyes and stats know that whilst Onana has had bozo moments, he's a much better passer and is much better at claiming crosses and being proactive whilst statistically being a better shot stopper. De gea has had his grand share of mistakes last season as well and particularly in our biggest games. Him also being completely useless in cross claiming + being bad with distribution and general proactiveness makes him inherently worse too. Every time the ball went to him it was almost guaranteed that we'd lose possession.
