ah Silver needs to have his own shiny pokemon. let it be a Kingdra. but let him get it in Horsea. Thus the 3 protagonists have their shiny water-type Pokémon. Just like the other 2. Only one is half psychic, the other is a dragon slayer and the other is a dragon. 😁

Kingdra only has one weakness in the second generation and it is the dragon type. Red Gyarados can learn a dragon type attack like anger which is very powerful and would make a good final fight. 💪

Gotta Remember, Umbreon has a high Special Defense, so naturally it was able to tank Dragonair's hits while Ethan was healing his Pokemon.

I love all the subtle things in the animation like how even tho it the dratini got knocked out by a electric atk, Gold's ampharos has a look on its face telling of that atk did not hit very hard. And how pedro knows exactly how tanky an umbreon is

The episode is much better than I expected. This shows how tough Dragon Type Pokemons are before. If Ethan/Gold had a hard time defeating the Dragonairs, he will be in deep trouble beating Kingdra since Kingdra has only one weakness he could exploit: Dragon.

I was waiting for this match, and it delivered step by step Clair's sassy attitude and tantrums. Oh, I can't wait for the dragons den episode. 🐉

I love that they keep their "stare up" during the match. 3:25 Clair is livid! O_O

Seeing Dragon Pokémon jump out of lava pits to fight hits harder than I thought!

I’ve said it before but I really like how you made a whole backstory behind Claire’s temper tantrum that ties her and Lance with Gold and Silver. Makes this way more interesting than the main games 😂. Idk if she will lose next episode (Gold is kinda low on pokemon now) but I think it’ll be interesting how they react to meeting that dragon grand master (assuming you’re going the Crystal route). Could see Gold getting a Dratini and Kris say getting…a Horsea. Who she can evolve by trading with Silver so he can get Gengar/Alakazam.

Guess Clair's done whipping Silver. At least he is now on friendlier terms with everyone, and willing to tag along with Kris. And nice bit of foreshadowing when talking about happiness evolutions. I didn't see a lot of anime so I don't recognize the nurse cameos most of the time, but I did recognize Lucoa from Kobayashi Dragon maid anime. I lol'd at Heracross using frozen Seadra to push boulder XD Lol, Gold messing with Clair and giving her rage moment as he fights her. Girl needs some anger management...maybe some calming camomille tea and some meditation. And the Dragonairs and Ultra balls are fine in lava? What are they made off? I wonder if that's even lava in the gyms at this point. Maybe that's just spaghetti sauce with some lightining on it to make it look like lava since real one would be stupidly dangerous. My mind goes to silly places XD Aw, have to wait for the battle with Kingdra? Oh well. Looking forward

Pokeballs have to contain all kinds of different properties and Dragon Pokemon are possibly built different; considering how rare they usually are. The idea of the lava actually being a heck ton of spaghetti sauce is a good one as well.

Y'all do remember that Cinnabar Island & Gym were built right on top of a volcano that turned out to not be as dormant as errybody thought, right? (In the time between Red/Green/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal, the volcano unexpectedly got active and erupted, destroying the entire town except for the Pokémon Center.)

And if not, because she is related to the champ, then it's corruption. 2. This is disgusting to look at, as if these segments were influenced by hentai. Nice detail that Gold actually had to struggle through the gym trainers and go back for healing before facing Claire. I don't think he's ever had to do that before. He's always just plowed right through the regular trainers in the gym.

Gold got his ass beat repeatedly by Whitney (even after gettin' a Machop) before FINALLY beating her and then later being implied that he got his freak on with her. And I mean he got beat REPEATEDLY. Nevermind the other trainers who got sent packing by Whitney, she clearly made more bank off Gold than any of'em. I don't think that even Silver was able to beat her (and given how his Feraligatr be mutilating mofos...that gator probably took a Rollout to the Face and lost a few teeth).

Love Lucoa's cameo as Nurse Joy with Tohru there too. Also can see Ethan's frustration with dealing with Dragon Types. The scene of Clair's Dragonair rising from the lava as well, super poignant, and a great display of just how powerful dragons can be. Love seeing how Clair is seeing Lance in Gold's place; hearkening back to the days where she would constantly be beaten by him. I do wonder just how much Ethan learned from Lance too.
