They always were at first glance and they are pretty good maps to mess around. Nothing competitive but if you wanna have a good time, just hop in for a game or two.

They are not glitches though. Its just the maps that dont have clip brushes. I like it that way, it adds something to the game and rewards map knowledge and teamwork

It's so odd seeing this game getting recognition, yet would never expect such examples from this channel either. Thanks for the nostalgia boost though. It's interesting to see such clippings and boosts exist to this very day.

I didn't know that in CSS you can jump higher than in CSGO to do a boost, a person who wants to boost someone doesn't need to squat, and then get up to do a boost, as in CSGO, you can just jump on a standing person and do a boost. It's impressive!

CSS player is just 63 unit high but jump force is the same as csgo. your viewport height is 64, thus you can see players feet standing on you and camera will descend when theres not enough space above, creates the bug at 14:34. while jumping, player bounding box is way out of sync from player model anim that half of the body can clip through ceiling.

I like that in this video there is almost no music (execpt for the AD) You just hear the ambience and the players. Really shows how good the maps are designed on sound for a 2004 game.

@@FlynqJ First of all, you should know that the CS:S and HL universe is linked, some of the maps are cut version of some HL2 maps. So, in an other hand, the aesthetic and the design is pretty much same as HL2. Which means every design you see in CS:S is giving HL2 vibes to people.

I wanna be honest: scenes like 2:06 out of nowhere in such videos make them perfect Love this channel

Its my favorite c.s lot of fun hours spent in it, im glad people are still making videos about this legendary game

kinda shocked you haven't made a video about CSS zombie mod tricks like making and breaking barricades as well as hiding inside of props. personal fave is hiding inside vending machines proves time and time again that old tricks are the best xD

Я использовал на дасте2 один баг, он до банальности прост в исполнении, но часто помогало ввести противника в ступор. На рампе возле плента А есть два окошка, и в углу песочная горка(напротив бочек) и от неё можно на окошко запрыгнуть, и если получится то и на второе.

I remember on Source when you could boost someone with a grenade, you could propel someone way up into the air and make them land on very high places, you could do it to get on top of the long house on dust2 and on the big boxes on the right as soon as you walk out to B on cbble as the Terrorists, there where even more places you could do this on, but you had to throw the grenade and the jumper must synchronize like crazy for it to work lol.

The best CS!

I play on a server with parachutes but no player colissions, meaning you cant access certain spots shown in this video but let me assure you, you can go crazy with the spots at hand and i now wonder if i can get to some of these new spots by gliding from a certain angle

This is the most fun Counter-Strike, no doubt
