A colour analysis session is a once-off experience to discover your colours for life.
A palette is a collection of colours that emphasise your natural chromatic characteristics, making you look radiant and healthy. Colour analysis identifies your personal palette by examining your natural characteristics (undertone, intensity and value).
A colour analysis session will make you discover something new about yourself and give you the knowledge to shop less and better and to improve your wardrobe and style.

I’d say in general for summers the worst are certain spring colours (orange comes to mind) and vice versa. The same for winter and autumn. Of course these pallets share sister seasons, but still, in general.

As someone who started making some of my own jewelry, wanted to add a few things: Be careful when buying "platinum" colored things online, somehow the term is very often being misused by a lot of sellers for a darker silver color, instead look for light sliver color. You will typically find regular gold or silver finishes or antic versions of any metals. The antic versions are best for muted color palettes. Think more grey instead of shiny silver, matt bronze or gold instead of shiny gold for bright palettes. The lead color is usually referred to as gun metal.

How fascinating! One of the first things I did when I discovered your videos a few weeks ago was change my earing studs and nose rings to gold, from silver, and it has made such an immediate difference to the whole glow of my face! ❤ I'm so pleased! Of course, as you said, if someone has some favourite jewellery, in the "wrong" seasons colour, they could keep wearing it as part of the overall balance with other clothing colours that enhance the season and it would detract too much... For example I have some beautiful silver earrings from Greece with carnelians in them which I will keep, but everything else, I switched to gold hooks and fittings with my home jewellery tools, and will now only look up copper bronze and gold new pieces.. it explains why I've always drifted to copper but had often chosen silver as it's a more common base for the gemstones I love. Another switch I made was to buy some cream/oyester colour silk thread to restring a few pendants from black cord, to a cream cord.. and again its just given my whole look so much more of a relaxed and yes harmonious tye in 😉 This really fascinates me, it's so immediate! I love these videos and how helpful they are. Thank you so much again, 🙏

Just remembered that some antique silver jewelry can have a darker patina as well compared to regular silver and platinum. 1. Stainless Steel: Durable and hypoallergenic, often used for its silvery-gray finish. 2. Tungsten Carbide: Known for its dark, metallic sheen and high durability. 3. Titanium: Lightweight and strong with a similar appearance to lead. 4. Pewter: Typically lead-free now and has a similar look to lead. 5. Rhodium-plated Jewelry: Gives a shiny, lead-like appearance. 6. Sterling Silver: Has a similar luster and color to lead. 7. Platinum: High-end, durable, and has a lead-like grayish appearance. 8. Hematite: A natural mineral with a metallic, lead-like sheen. 9. Zinc Alloy: Often used in costume jewelry and can be made to resemble lead.

One suggestion-you both excel at explaining things on a theoretical level and making them understandable (props to Alessandra’s chemistry background!), but could go one step further in making them practically applicable if you showed examples of each metal in actually pieces of jewelry/clothing or even just photos. Btw, I had my color analysis done online by these ladies it was such a good experience. Highly recommend!

Ciao ragazze! Grazie mille per questo video!!! I have *always* wished I could learn more about metallics when it comes to color analysis and personal style because I am so passionate about metallic colors and substances in art and design. One of my personal side missions is to help people learn that there is a whole entire metallic "palette" that is as rich and dynamic as the regular color spectrum we have, and it's definitely not just a case of gold or silver with an occasional rose! In my artwork I use almost exclusively metallics for the base of my paintings and sculpture since I love having everything be intensely effected by different dimensions of light, and I'm really inspired by metals and their symbolism in cultural history. I still have no idea what my personal color profile is, I've done self analysis and have swung from literally every season to a different one at a different point in time, but I'm definitely more encouraged to getting my own professional analysis done based on this video alone. I'd love to know what my ideal metal is, at least according to a professional, because knowing that would give me so much inspiration for my work. I hope that you come back to identifying and categorizing even more metallic colors and alloys in the future! One you didn't mention was a unique hybrid of copper and silvers that blend warm and cool tones at different levels used by metalsmiths in Japan called shibuichi. Shibuichi itself has its own palette depending on the percentages, but the ones that have the most copper tones are definitely that cool "metallic pink" you described, maybe even pinker! I love intense shibuichi, and silvery alloyed rose gold, since they are hot and cold at the same time and have this almost alien smoldering radiance to them. But perhaps my personal favorite, even though it is clearly too deep for my profile, is chocolate gold, which is a rich metallic coffee brown that is like a deeper and less saturated version of your bronze. I absolutely love it just because it's stunning! And I have to chime in with my more US based color terminology, and say that yes gunmetal is what we would use for describing a blacker metallic like lead. It's a common word in design and fashion even! And even the cool pyrite could be called a champagne gold (o prosecco, credo!) Allora! Avete fatto bene come sempre Giulia e Alessandra! Bravissime!!!

But, silver is too cool by itself. Copper is my favorite, but it still pops best when mixed with silver. Could you ladies please make more videos about olive skin tones? Olive skin can be very challenging, because it is neither truly warm or cool.

I was a bit skeptical about these metal cards, but they're so accurate I can't help but love them! I loved the rose gold explanation as well! There are plenty of analysts out there saying that rose gold is a good color for Summer people and I was starting to believe I was crazy because, for me, it's obviously warm. Maybe they're putting metallic pink and rose gold in the same box, and this is creating confusion. I work with hair color and there's nothing better to create chaos than different concepts for the same name. Some of my customers get mad at me for asking them to send me photos of the hair color they want or call colors "pinkish-purple", "blueish-purple", "greenish-blue" etc. However, the amount of miscommunication decreased drastically after I employed this strategy when talking to them.

Rhodium plated white gold matches their platinum card. Unplated white gold matches their pyrite card.

I find my best metals are anything aged and almost mattified, like an aged silver looks better than a gold despite overall warm-leaning colours work better. No idea what my season is, i just know mostly i need to look for red-based warm, matt/soft and preferably mid to dark tone.

I don’t know what my colour palette is but I find I suit 9- 14k gold best, or like a soft ‘champagne’ colour with a high polish finish. Dull metals look awful on me, as do rich golds, rich copper and greys. I think I could pull off a bright whitish silver if I tweaked my makeup but it wouldn’t be as flattering or harmonious. Also, I think pewter is a better name than lead. 😊 So I would have no idea where I fit in the wheel!

Instead of lead, use Tantalum, it's the metal for my wedding ring. Very heavy for its size and amazing to wear. :)

As always, a great informative educative video❤ I was resently told that I should stop wear silver, because my zodiac sign is Arries, and Arries should not wear silver, but they should wear gold (I dont know feng shui or something). But I told - I am a Winter, so it is more recommended to wear silver, sorry😅 😅

Yup, this Bright Spring loves her pure gold and (sister Winter Bright) platinum-coloured jewellery. I look good in both, and now I know why! Sadly none of it is pure. 🤣

I’m a summer (my guess is soft summer) and I loooove gold but it has to be a less “yellow” gold in order to pull it off. Silver jewelry looks best; specifically if it has a slight lavender or pink undertone (I noticed certain brands carry more of that color) or is lighter in color like the silver tone Apple uses on their AirPods Pro headphones 🎧 looks great too.

I love how you highlight the various metals with the seasons and subgroups! I have a question: How do the seasons reflect personality types? Thank you for your excellent videos, professional insights and delightful presentation. Keep up the lovely work!
