This is my favorite nighttime coaster at the park. Obviously, it isn't a crazy thrill ride but at night it just feels special. You can usually just walk on after dark so this became our "last ride of the day tradition". Then we get funnel cakes and drive home

This is perfect for kid's wanting to make that transition to bigger coasters. Parks haven't enough of these intermediate rides. I doubt that was the thought process when making it, however to me it seems to be an awesome in between coaster.

100% !!! As a kid I thought every huge coaster was super scary but rides like this and ninja eased me into it. You feel the thrill without having anything super intense. I can't get enough coasters since then!

I love how you can just sit back and have fun in this ride without having to worry about anything, by far my fav ride and i cant wait to take my sister on it

This is definetly a starter ride when its your first visit to six flags

This was my first ever coaster ride back in 2005.

This was the park's first coaster in 1971 before Six Flags took over. It has been trimmed and shorten but it still is a classic.

@@RollerCoasteraddict After the first drop the coaster continued towards the water where the log ride was installed later. Also, the ride was further modified what they placed Superman plaza.

@@johnnymoreno4575you’re right!! Just saw an old layout and it did go down to the pond and then the second lift hill. Then it appears to go through a cave to the other side of the mountain. I find this stuff very interesting.

A classic to be sure, but a welcome one.

@@apig3754 I was just there a couple days ago. Definitely not a long line attraction. The loading system is very slow, but the actual line itself should be around 10-15 minutes.

Got sentimental watching this. Rode this a lot in the 80s and early 90s

They should make more rides like this that you can actually enjoy, rather then just getting tossed around and left with a headache.

This ride reminds me of Thunder Mountain, just calmer

This ride feels like its about to break all the time, genuinely scarier than scream.

I've ridden this since 1974. What's missing is the rubber bumper on the steel beam at 0:33 -- THAT used to be where the pieces of gum were placed, not on the exposed beam itself. Old skool. I don't remember the concrete tunnel at 0:38 and the buildings to the left on the 2nd lift at 1:11 -- what are they?

Never knew about the Rubber placed on the support, all my life it's been gum stuck directly;y to the steel ... The tunnel & buildings were added in 1996 when SFMM built Superman, The tunnel is a walkway above that leads to Superman & the Buildings is actually the line & Superman the ride itself.

I remember riding this the 1st week that Magic Mountain was open, the only coaster in the park, still one of my favorites

the ride operater that always go "woo woo" is the best, that's why i go on goldrush all the time lmao

This ride isint really scary, but MAN does it throw you, especially if your smaller because the seats bigger.

Scream is a good one, it might seem scary but it’s so much fun. The first time I went on I felt like throwing up but when we started going through the loops, I couldn’t get enough of it!

I recently face my fear of roller coaster The first one I went on was the Classic Revolution and my second coaster was X2 that was scary

I would go on this ride but my friend recently fell off of the ride at the sharp turn so I’m not so sure

We stopped going to Magic Mountain for several reasons including the cleanliness and maintenance of the park. The grounds upkeep and landscaping has really gone downhill with dead plants, weeds and no attempt to hide park infrastructure. Many of the rides are looking really bad and are in need of a refurbishment (think jet stream). The main reason we stopped going though is the sense of not feeling safe due to a lot of shady people and unsupervised teens in the park. I don't understand how Disney can control the unruliness but Six Flags cannot.

I've been on this ride and it is pretty fast for a small ride

They should buy demon from cga when it closes and put the loops on this 🤣 people who rode it before wouldn't be expecting inversions. Maybe put them in a dark tunnel 🤣

The camera makes it less intense because me and my friend where shaking and tossing in the ride.

I got on that one at night time it looked so cool but I was holding on to it for dear life I had mittens on it made my hands feel slippery so I felt like I was gonna let go of the rail and fall off

The ride was so much better with log jammer, the lake, waterfalls, and lush vegetation. I see trash everywhere! Shame on Six Flags for this.
