Looks like it would be just the right size to fit into your back pack and take with you on some hikes where "they" don't like mining. Excellent for small scale production tests.

A lot of people in my area are anti prospecting, so I wanted a mini sluice to be on the DL. Really liking this design and the simple cleanout. Thank you for the video.

Cool. Small sluices can be so much fun to use and easy to pack for longer hikes. I bet 2 of those put together would make a cool mini longtom

They make one thats straight without the funnel at the top. And an 3d printed connector so you can double or even triple it if you want.

Pretty cool sluice light and portable anywhere , great small creek sluice.

That was awesome, Justin. I enjoyed this video. Not only the rpe sluice box was set up but the adventure dream mat sluice box fits perfectly inside it. Not only you can run a bigger sluice box and use the adventure dream mat sluice box to run your concentrates down. Very nice..

I thought you were going to pan out the bottom of the Rpe to check the tailings from the adventure sluice. I just watched another guy having issues with air bubbles too.

I like that little dreamat sluice. But if you use the micro dream mat in your big sluice a you have very little concentrates to clean out. Just a thought.

Nice, that thing definitely seems like the trick for your cons. Ive got one of the dream mat stream sluices and I love it. BTW I was the guy in the red car you talked to on Saturday, I’m curious to see how you did on that rainy day. I had a pretty successful day even with all the extra water to deal with. Lol

Haha yeah, I prospected a different spot for about an hour then came back to where you were parked and tried to cross the river… long story short I ended up filling my waders with water. But I managed to do pretty well for a flooded day. Glad you did too!

How much time was spent classifying before running it? I was on the river earlier this week and just realized the super sluice alone was way faster, even unclassified. After spending lots of $ on gear and lugging it down through the woods, I'm beginning to wonder.

This is a good question! It’s actually a topic on my “to-do” video list, panning vs sluicing, which is more efficient!

Yeah but I’m wondering what gold it’s losing being that narrow and short? You should run your rpe after it and see if you’re catching gold in the tailings.

I think the RPE is maybe an 1” to 1.5” wider. But yeah I’ll give it a try. With it being so long I don’t think I’m losing much gold at all

But would happen if you were to double them up One on top of the other

A gold pan, a snuffer bottle, a classifier screen and that’s all you need. Garrett Super Sluice gold pan for testing, a snuffer bottle for sucking up the gold and a classifier.
