I’ve been watching your videos now for a long while. I think it’s definitively a patch. Nice to share a town name, no need to share any further information though. More EMI than normal? Do you ever play with the manual settings in noise cancel to try to achieve less EMI? I do enjoy you sharing your knowledge and detecting techniques. Thanks for the show.

Yes the emi was bad. My detector normally runs much better. I am just used to it however doing a noise cancelling does improve it significantly. Thanks for watching, your advice and comments.

Hi my name is matthew im from melbourne i just got a gpx 6000 im heading out maybe sat but differently sunday this week would you like to show me how to use my detector. And maybe show me a spot to detect near talbot or amherst i love watching your video and you always get me excitied to get out and find my first nugget. ive got some test gold to try but looking for my own piece with your help. I do not go out on the weekends due to family commitments and I only pick the best weather days during the week for a trip out. Just a question about March Flies, i didn't hear any buzzing around in your vid?, i recall coming down to Vic for a detect about 7-8 years ago towards the end of March and those flies were everywhere, any problems with them now thanks mate?

Not much of a problem this year yet. They seem to follow my car (maybe the color blue) but when I stop they buzz off. I wear earthy toned colors and they stay away from me. Thanks for your question and for watching.

Doesn’t matter where you say where you are or not, that many people getting around with detectors, just when you think you’re alone you’re not & Talbot would one of the most popular places as it’s a hour for the CBD , l have a friend that spends 80 % of his time there.
