Thank you for the review video I really enjoyed and I have pay dirt that I need to pan that I bought so what you are doing really helps me with technique, because I personally have never panned anything. Keep the videos coming and again thank you.

I've seen some of Klesh's paydirt reviews. It was fun to kind of turn the tables on him. I loved the slo-mo head shake with the beard flowing free in yesterday's vid. Gave me a chuckle. :o)

Nice Dan, Shane was the first gold videos I watched. I been watching him a long time as well as yours. I watch several others because there is no gold in South east Texas. At least I get to see every one else find some gold. I love the Pickerton claim.

I do paydirt just for fun. I live in Minnesota where we don't have gold. Its good therapy for the stresses of what I do for work. Worth the money.

Hi Dan, love watching your videos! No gold where I live, Videos of yours are special, you get stuff no one else does such as wildlife, fish in the Frazier River, beautiful. I watch Shane too. Can't mention all the other guys but it's great how most of you get along and get together on trips. Best of all Dan, you're a class act, always seem happy, no negativity, wish I could be like that, just need to get a nice gold claim!

Hi Dan, I want to put something out there that I learned myself after seeing paydirt reviews for the first time. I used to see these types of videos and think who would be dumb enough to buy a bag of paydirt, it's pointless, just go find your own gold. After thinking about it I wound up buying my own bag as I am a beginner and couldnt find gold on my own, and with this bag of paydirt I perfected my panning skills by panning it over and over again. Now after fixing my flaws with panning I am actually finding my own gold. It's great for practice.

It was interesting to see you do the finer panning to clean up what you had in the smaller pan. I can understand why you don't show that on every panning video but I really enjoyed seeing the part we don't usually see. I've no real world panning or prospecting experience and, given my age and geography, am unlikely to ever get any so everything you do is new to me the first time I see you do it. And that's what keeps me coming back to watch more: all this may well be of no practicable use to me but it is fascinating both in itself and as an insight into a way of life from the literal other side of the world. Keep up the good work Dan- you are a natural teacher and it'd be a shame to have that go to waste.

Hi Dan, just in fuel expenses to get to the claim to pan that much gold would cost me $50.00 + , so that is no a bad price for gold in the winter time month or any time of the year. Now if I can bring home 10 times that amount of Gold, that would a different story. Thank you for the reviews looking forward to seeing the rest. You are correct in saying you won't make a profit from Pay dirt but if you're new to panning, it's a very good tool to learn from. Top that off with, it's always fun to find lil' treasures from them :-)

Very cool. I've been trying to get my little guy into panning but he isn't quite old enough to appreciate the empty pan and just time out by the river. Paydirt is the way to go for him.

Dan... I like klesh's videos he always checks the ROI, thought his would be closer. Tom's paydirt, and goldbay sell theirs by the gram. Really good ROI. But the right it's a lot of fun.

Always a good content. I am waiting for the day when I will see you without a beard, ha ha ha. Thanks for this video.

I really think I need to find some way to become a lapidary. I love gems/semi precious stones, and just any stone that's pretty. There's gotta be some way for me to make a living around them. My back is too screwed up to be a geologist (and I could never afford all the schooling) so I can't be the one out digging for them for a living, but I think it could hang with just sitting and polishing them all day while listening to music.. It wouldn't be too different than what I do now, it'd just have the benefit of taking rough stones and making something pretty out of them, which would be REALLY rewarding.
