Surging water is a pain in the rear. Bur in runoff season there isn't much you can do.. . I found that the box usually holds on to the gold but I do lose some. Verry little though. . I love it when the inspection mat gets loaded up. Makes it exciting. Awsome video brother

My spot u can catch medium sized fish but can use no tools. Soon I will swim there. Thanks

i like to make a hole in front of my sluice to have an area of less turbulant water. might help with the surging too

Nice work! I think if you had the sluice setup in a different spot or setup more rock wing dams it could have fixed the surging?? It seemed to work anyways, right? Good gold hunting to you guys! Take care.
