The Gold shops are located along the Serangoon Road and the jewellery are all hand crafted. They sell the best 22 carat gold. There are also some good Indian clothing shops. Another interesting place is the also a produce market that sells Asian vegetables/fruits, seafood, poultry, beef and crabs from Sri Lanka. Singapore's most famous Mustafa shopping centre is 20 minutes walk from the MRT. This place is open 24 hours and a must visit place. There are also some good Indian restaurants and shops that sells Indian music/movies.

Singapore gold number one but have to pay gst 9% for tourists no problem can refund in Singapore Airport.

Yeah, it’s cheaper if any tourist buy gold from here as they can refund GST.

Every shop there will have making charges however, they will have some articles they don’t have making charges for. You can always bargain and try to get making charges reduced or completely wiped out.

You need to pay 9% GST which can be claimed at Airport if you are a tourist in Singapore. No other taxes except GST.
What is the current approx price of 10 gm 22 ct there and what is the making charges

Current prices for 1g 22 ct is around 84SGD. Making charges will vary depending on the article you buying. Some of the shops may discount or remove making charges so check around who is offering best price.

GST is 9% which you can refund as a tourist. There might be making charges which are very minimal for gold bars compared to jewellery. For international cards, you can check with your bank if they have additional service charges for foreign currency expenditures, jewellery shops will not charge any additional fee for any types of card. Checkout the Mustafa Jewellery shop in Little India they have large collections of gold bar and jewellery and offer competitive rates.
