We do love our Michael Keaton. A few mods and this set will be perfect. NECA had a 7 in scale Keaton Batman a few years ago. If both eyes had been painted I would have gotten it. Cheers!

I never got the main release Neca Keaton but I do have the NES version, which next to the Mafex Robert Pattinson happens to be my favorite Batman figure I own

I personally found the NECA one terrible. The articulation was limited as hell with its single joints, the cloth for the cape was cheap as hell, and he had no head range.

Mine got pushed back today. My glow in the dark Swamp Thing was pushed back about a week ago. I’m pretty sure that Batman 6 pack is going to be pushed back soon, too. It’s nice to see some people actually got theirs.

They did a gold label batmobeast bundle last year. I'm happy with that. More space for figures, and that engine detail.The 89 batmobile is iconic, even if this one is no frills. No lights , wepons or effects. They kept that price down and that is good for most mcfarlane collectors.

It would have been better if they made it easier for people to get. There are tons of folks that missed out because of the Amazon experience. Plenty, of course, are being resold already by scalpers. ☹️

One of my biggest complaints when I unboxed mine, was the lack of character/vehicle cards. I collect those and put those in acrylic protectors.

Interesting. A first for McFarlane to miss this?

I swear in some of the angles you had him in, he sort of looked like Keaton in the face. Personally, I'm only waiting for the 6 Pack Movie Batman from McFarlane otherwise I never bother with his figures. I'm praying to the Elder Gods that Clooney and Kilmer look amazing as they are the main motivators for me purchasing it.

Yes! I definitely have some FOMO on those two, but I don’t normally care to collect McFarlane. The light is a huge part of that pack, too. The car is what wins in this set

I bought the flash batmobile, do you think it's worth looking for the 89 batmobile or better costume, the one I have with matte black paint

Bummer you were disappointed, I’m having a blast with it! Also really glad I never found the first version, cause I’d be a little pissed. That aside, it looks cool as shit beside my old Kenner Batman and Batmissile Batmobile.

Wow, that looks kind of meh! Amazon delayed mine and I'm not sure if I care. Cheap looking plastic with lots of imperfections, lack of scale, etc. Two thoughts: 1. DC Direct's animated Batmobile from 2016 was a beast - in scale; could fit Batman and Robin, working front/rear lights, lit dashboard, and I believe a working steering columns - all for about $60 ( a later version incl Bats and Robin and a Batsignal for $120). Times change! 2. Maybe Ramen Toys could take a stab at this - an "1889 Manbat race car"? 🤣

I collected so many McFarlane Toylines around the 2000s - i remember Figures like the "Where the Wild Things are", the Clive Barker Stuff, Movie Maniacs and many more. Looking at those - i would say they still hold up. Not as articulated as today's toys, a little bit "rougher" but value, paintjob, the sculpting and shelf presence always was on top! Little collectibles i got if i couldn't afford the big and pricey statues. There were a few years i not saw a single McFarlane toy - thought they were gone for good - but in recent years with the DC Line, the new Spawn Lineup and Mortal Kombat... I still like a few figures - only bought some Mortal Kombat Characters - but for the most of them there a just not what i want to collect anymore. For me... this is only a "Toy"-Toy. Give it to kids and let them play with it. The now bitter 40 year old collector - with the memories of the older McFarlane Toys - is just disappointed.

£ for £ my favourite Batmobile ever has to be the early 2000's Hot Wheels 1:18 diecast 1989 version, it's just perfection and isn't tarnished by a 'toybiz-looking' Michael Keaton figure 🤢 great vid as always, always agree 🤘

I had to contact McFarlane and they had to ship me out the correct piece. They aren’t making this easy on me lol. Making me sweat to get one of these.

im so glad i got the knightfall batman and didnt pay out the nose for the flash movie keaton batman, and im glad i didnt get either batmobile. while the car is very cool looking its too far from close to perfect. hopefully someone else gets in on the 1/12th batmobile game.

Yes! I would love to see one that has a little more care. $60-75 is still great for what you get even if less than perfect. Some customizers will have fun bumping these up, but a nice two seater with details would be cool

Technically it is great, with some shortcomings. But we dont scale toys to actors real life traits like height etc. Its the scale in the movie we need. Rambo toys would be 4 inches lol. This channel is great though, bringing your personality into it all, not boring like most with sad slow speech cadences, this was ez to watch even if i didnt 100% agree with all of it. Keep up the work! Subcribed.

I don't know why they went with gold for the belt on the figure instead of the proper yellow. Too many inconsistencies with the vehicle and the figure in my opinion.That's why I didn't bother ordering this. I mean 1989 was so long ago, but I think they had cameras back then to take photos of the Batmobile and the suit to compare the designs to and make sure they were accurate?

My bank account is glad that McFarlane toys are so mid that there is no reason for me to have any interest. One less line to collect. That said, you are right that the value of this is decent considering there are no other options. You are also correct that McFarlane willfully took advantage of the consumer with the first release. Another reason to avoid the line

Still no "machine guns".....😨 Swappable and replaceable "machines guns" are easy to implement but Mcfarlane still ignore this.....😨😨 This is unforgivable, my Jada toys 1/24 diecast 1989 batmobile does have the "rotatable machine guns"😎 Not a technical excuse, just cost-saving😔

Absolutly correct, this is "Gold label", adding machine guns, batman gripping hands or some clear "fire effect" will be appreciated. Now, it is just a reprint version, nothing new..... I think every batman collectors are willing to pay more for better products, not a large, childish toys for Christmas😬

mcfarlane really just continues to drop the ball on things imo the only line that interests me is batman animated and even those look abysmal it really sucks

I got to say this was a pretty negative review. The positives were glossed over and the cons focused on extensively. For 75 bucks its a crazy good deal. A two-seater Batmobile wouldve been too big imo. And limiting articulation for the seamless neck look wouldve been a poor choice for this line.
