So it would be fa better to purchase items there rather than England because a lot cheaper there ? I think I will have to watch you more ,

I would suggest the following - if you are not concerned about the brand (specific jewelry brand) and you just want good solid gold pieces - the prices in the Middle East are lower but also designs are more Arabic/Indian style than Western. However, it is possible to find great pieces in 18K gold in trendy western designs. Therefore, if you are traveling to Dubai or transit via Kuwait - yes, it is a good idea to get some gold jewelry pieces here (especially if you are going to get some significant weight)

Only watched one of your videos before , obvious you know your stuff , question if one may ask = why are you not giving the price comparison between different countries, maybe you have in previous videos? Lots of women jewellery you show , can you also show more men stuff also.

Thank you for watching) Regarding the prices - it is relatively difficult to do in terms of comparison side by side because of mainly two factors: 1) the price for gold varies day by day (if in March I am filming in Kuwait, and last year I did video in Thailand) it may not be that relevant if the price has changed since then by 15-20% (just as example) 2) However, I always try to give prices when filming so that viewer can make his/her own analysis of the overall trend 3) Regardless of these two factors, I will try to make relevant comparisons in short time scale) thank you for suggestion and your interest!

@@opensesame12 You captured my interest and made me think somewhat, have too apologise up front I tend to think differently to nearly everyone I’ve ever met , so sorry if I ask stupid or naive questions , I know that gold has fluctuations in price , lately in a period of a week could go up or done by 100 dollars , which made me think obviously when I saw that receipt which had a price of making the item part of the overall price , that’s a constant irrespective of the price of gold on each day, stating the obvious sorry, If I went to the country let’s say Kuwait if that’s the cheapest in and around that part of the world ? Purchase some gold be it jewellery or coins not sure how much one can purchase at a time , bring it back to England or anywhere and sell it with profit , don’t hold back with your answers = I like people being who they are no being what the world wants them to be , so if I’m being so naive in my questions say things like take your head out of the sand and smell the roses, = sand Kuwait sorry made myself laugh, sorry for long email but only a little sorry.

@@kavanobrien6547 First of all, please, don't apologize. I am open for discussion and happy to share information I know. Regarding the purchase gold here - probably you have seen in that video that some jewelry is actually bullions/coins and bars "incased" in necklaces and bracelets. Even though the fact that technically these are partially gold coins and bars - legally it is jewelry. There were times in US when gold bars and coins have been confiscated by the government, however, jewelry did not fall to this legislation. Therefore, I guess this type of jewelry is designed for easier handling. If you put it on yourself, there is less likely questions on the customs as it is personal effects. However, if you carry coins or bars - 100% there will be checks. When I traveled with bars - i had to show all the receipts (that is why at the end of the video I mention all the details). If you have documents - you are free to go. The second issue is the amount. How much you will carry. I suggest it is equivalent $10 000, otherwise you have to declare it at customs. On your arrival to the UK, you will have to undergo similar procedure. So, for commercial purposes it might be limiting, but for personal i guess it is quite good option, especially if you are stacking gold as savings. I hope I gave you some idea.

@@opensesame12 I know the history in regards to the government at that time trying to take the gold away from the people = 35 dollars an ounce i think then repriced it when they had enough, it was Nixon who took America off the gold standard , ironically I think at some point they will have to go back on it because of the bricks nations not wanting to use the dollar anymore, I don’t blame those nations I blame the Americans for politicising the dollar , so they have themselves to blame , I was thinking , yes I know too much thinking is bad for anyone = dying is easy comedy is hard , sorry I digress , where was I oh yes - am I being stupid why don’t I just go to that region by some gold = 10,000 pounds worth come back to England and make a profit, and just fly out there a few times a year and Bob’s your uncle but the way the trans thing is going could be you Auntie , I suppose if it was that easy you would be doing it , in my head it seems too easy , do I just need to stay out of my head.

Most of jewelry is imported and it is not easy to find something made by local jewelers. On the other hand, still there are some pieces made on spot. I suggest you to go to mubarakiya and ask sellers directly which designs have been made locally in Kuwai
