It's the same underhook technique over and over and over and over and over. Hand fighting, get an underhook on the left side, push out, react, underhook takedown variation, scored. It's a brilliant piece of work. Yazdani is truly a master of his craft.

Yazdanichara at gold match wins 16 to 5 where 4 points awarded to belarus was in my opinion a 2 point on a counter attack they are so jenerous . this shows the superior athletic and technical mastery of the persian lion who leaves no room for more judging error or favoritisem .good job kèeping the sport alive in iran inspite of lack of financial support.thank you for all your sacrifices inspite of its meager financial rewards in my motherland where if there was a gym in each city it would be filled to the brim with youth pitty theres is a small gym per possibly million or more people in iran if that.if we had just a little more facilities we would produce many champs like this one .god bless this athlete and really all who keep this amazing sport alive.blessed are those who sacrifice for the betterment of our sportmanship by making it this attractive to the future janerations thus steer them towards a healthy body healthy mind and stronger menthality and willpower towards goodness compassion humility and strength. that was the teaching of wrestelling sportsmanship thought to us by our elders.thank you god bless

Revisiting this match a year later, this may have to be Yazdani's best performance against a very skilled wrestler. Yazdani made sure that Shabanov didn't get his left side underhook, so Yazdani emphasized heavy hand fighting to establish his own underhook offense. It was a master class performance where he used push outs (he stalked Shabanov until he was out of bounds), hit his signature left underhook whip over, then hits the Yazdani slide by at the end for good measure. Yazdani is a master of his craft and there's a reason why he is a mega star for the country of Iran

Yazdanichara is back. He looks much better. The ref was an idiot who got more in the way than anything else. At least there weren't any bad calls.

​@@barindersingh4025 revisiting this match against, Shabanov has the same motor and creativity as Yazdani. Yazdani is just a superior wrestler and it shows here.

It was silent, no sound, but amazing.

I'm curious how this new muscle will play out when he faces David Taylor again. It doesn't appear that Yazdani's stamina is any better than before, so I think his only hope is putting the match away early with Taylor or overpowering him to the point where David is equally tired.

Yazdanicharati has been giving up 3 to 7 kgs in every match in the past few years. Taylor, like most USA wrestlers, has excellent stamina, and seems to follow the Dan Gable school of constant attack. Now that Yazdanicharati's weight is closer to others in his class, he is less acrobatic and more conservative, which should actually help him win more matches. Personally, I think he will be unbeatable with another year of experience, similar to Jordan Burroughs in his prime. Absent an injury, I predict gold in Tokyo 2020.

@@MatthewRafat The thing is, you can't wrestle conservatively against Taylor. He will attack all match, and just fending off his attacks will wear down Yazdani. That's why I think he will either have to win early or severely overpower Taylor.

این جام دانکلوف حسن با نصف آمادگی شرکت کرد.سال دوهزار و نوزده،اوج آمادگی حسن مسابقات جهانی نورسلطان بود که ریز و درشت حریفاشو یا ده هیچ کرد یا ضربه.این تورنمنت صرفا یه آماده سازی و رفع اشکال بود برا حسن.عین آسیایی امسال قبل المپیک

Push out points are only supposed to be awarded if it's the result of an earnest takedown attempt. Yazdani is sumo.

@@pano6391 He always score takedowns and that 4 point underhook throw (ask Dieringer), his pressure gives him pushouts as well. Goleij is the guy you are looking for that sumo comment, not Yazdani.

He was extra aggressive because Shabanov has the same left underhook as Yazdani. So to negate the threat of the underhook , Yazdani keeps his hands busy to enter his own underhook.
