Bingara mines were reported to have thin gold sheets plating the rocks at times. A small field and not friendly to detectors. Like most of eastern Australia there is plenty of trash, wire, nails and lead shot. Gold is a function of geothermal volcanics and as hot things rise, most of the gold rises up to the surface, to shallow depths and generally peters out as the miners went deeper. Most of the fields were quickly worked out. When a field says it produced x,000 oz in its lifetime, always compare it to Newmonts Boddington mine in WA that produced 895000 oz/ annum, a couple of years ago. Australia is the world’s second largest producer of gold.

If you get any spare time,it would probably be a good idea 💡 to turn your metal detector on ,and you could find some gold in this Hotspot as your video title claims.
