Only because he stayed home. NOT anymore! I’ve been pushing for Wyatt Austin to be bass of the year but now… could be Jeff ♥️

@@MiddaHazeJeff Chapman has a much lower Bass voice than Wyatt Austin, the other Bass singer that you mentioned, does, and I'm not knocking that fine young Man, but Jeff Chapman fits in with Gold City perfectly! He can go almost all the way down to the bottom of the Piano scale...all the way down to a Super-Low C, which is only 4 notes away from the low end of the Piano scale... which is a Super-Low A. The other Bass singer that you mentioned, Wyatt Austin, from what I've heard, can't go nearly that low, as of yet. Maybe in years to come, he'll be able to go down deep, vocally speaking.

@@ronaldshank7589 I’m not disagreeing at all! It’s definitely a race between Wyatt and Jeff. There’s many styles of bass singing and I applaud them all. I’m hoping Jeff takes the award this year but if he don’t get it I hope Wyatt does. Wyatt is with a group that sings a completely different set EVERY NIGHT. That means they don’t know the next song until Luke cranks it up. That takes a skill many of the others simply don’t use. That’s why I’d vote for any of the Inspirations in any category they qualify but that doesn’t mean they’re the only ones worthy.
Daniel Riley's voice sounds a lot like his dads but obviously not as deep. I wonder if anyone knows how Tim is doing?
