Nope, original Super Saiyan requires a base power level pf 3 million + exact internal balance of emotions and focus of the thoughts that emerge of those emotions, that's why Goku had to calm down his newly discovered rage as its surging emergence cause spasms to shudder throughout his whole body before he finally had to let go pf the supression and accept the hate(aka anger) in his heart for what Frieza just did to Krillin. Only when the innocent and gentle Goku tasted the nasty waste of hate did his inner state balance out into a greater flower of awareness as composition of his consciousness exploded with the newly awakened golden depth of ki manipulation, golden ki that is had in the Sage mode of his race the "Super Saiyan." Golden Ki is for Saints in Saint Seia(Specifically Good Saints but any Saint that raises his sense from the basic 6 they have to the 7th and 8th, even 9th) whioe golden ki only comes to those who grasp the greatest depth of introspection as Poe the panda discovers in Kungfu Panda whose "Dragon Warrior" state is equivalent to the Gold Saint and Golden Saiyan state along with Saint ki in Yu-Yu Hakusho aka Dragonball before Dragonball. Nope, original Super Saiyan requires a base power level pf 3 million + exact internal balance of emotions, this rage isn't yet his strongest and his inner depth isn't yet enhanced by Mr. Popo's "mind training" so he could bot control the power of a Super Saiyan even if he had the baseline 3 million power level requirement to trigger the transformation.

@@linyenchin6773 nah, when Goku does not achieve Super Saiyan when Android 8 (eighter) is killed by the RR Army robot. Instead, he becomes enraged and fights fiercely against the robot, but ultimately loses the battle. It is possible that Goku could have achieved Super Saiyan at that moment due to the emotional trauma and anger he felt, as those emotions have been shown to be a key trigger for the transformation. However, it's also possible that the writers simply wanted to save the transformation for later in the series and chose not to have Goku transform in that scene.
