When you watch a part of the franchise you're not actually in and get treated by your senpai...and Yuuma is a big eater (is Maaya too?).

It kinda sucks that in Japan you don't get to take whatever food you don't finish home. If you accidentally order too much, then if you're able to take it home, it wouldn't be a problem. (I'm a little unsure why it's rude to ask the restaurant if they could take the food home...) 😅 I'm Taiwanese and our country has the habit of packing any food we don't finish, just because throwing it away would be a waste. We're taught that it's disrespectful to the people who worked hard to make said food, and the people who provided the ingredients. This is such a big part of Taiwanese culture that people even pack the food from a wedding. If anyone is worried about how sanitary it is, in Chinese culture (think Dim Sum), we're used to sitting at a round table and sharing large plates of food among a table of people, and we have chopsticks or spoons that are for personal use and then we have ones specifically used only for grabbing the food (like for public use/common tableware), so there's no saliva on the actual dish itself. It's nice that the 1st year cast and Gojo's VA got to hang out together! It sounded like a fun time ❤️

@@auliashiina8646 If it was a fine dining restaurant I understand, but I was thinking they went to a family style restaurant instead, which is why it was surprising that people don’t take leftovers home. (I’ve heard from Japanese people in general that it’s also just not common to do that in Japan)

I don't know about Japan, but I saw a video of a Korean youtuber who said that if you ask for the leftovers, they kinda look down on you. They think is low class.

Fr though 😭 we went to a korean BBQ for my lil brother's birthday. We ordered a first course, 2 bowls of kimchi, etc. Then we found out there were 2 BBQ included in each individual menus. There was so much quantity with the first one because there were side dishes and stuff, before they prepared the second service I told them embarrassed "Please could you put the rest in a doggy bag". We came home with 3 tupperwares of food 😭😭 Thankfully they didn’t take it badly
