Gojira -Vacuity [REACTION]

This is a video reaction to the band Gojira the song Vacuity
the official music video for that song is like a art house silence movie, I can see that this musicians are thinkers and philosophers - the song itself is not my type but there is a concept and talent which I always respect - I mean this band seems to me as - maybe a style itself, I mean that I can't say they like somebody, bad I heard just a few songs so far and honestly don't know what they are about or how exactly characterize them.

This song touches my soul. All newness, all creation, all power comes from inside. When all else is removed nothing but the core remains. Find the center and align with it. She is correct. The song hits direct and hard. It is my favorite music from Gojira...my neck hurts from this one.

The newer the albums are, the better the main singer's voice gets. (They used to have a lot of growls and distorted vocals like in death metal, now it's a clearer mix) Songs like Silvera should be a good middle ground to have an idea of their style in my opinion !

Very nice. They've somewhat mellowed out their last couple albums, but they have a few that are every bit as good as their heaviest stuff. Really thinking you'll love Lowlands Shooting Star Mouth of Kala They're still heavy, but also have a very psychedelic element as well. More and more Gojira please Subbing

I think based on what I see here you should try going forward an album. Born in Winter would be the track I suggest. It's a softer more complex song, not a metal song until later in the song, kind of like Cemetery Gates.

Gojira have had a pretty wild progression in terms of sound. Their earliest albums sport a much more death metal approach, especially in terms of vocal delivery. L'Enfant Sauvage, Magma, and Fortitude are albums that I think you'd fancy much more. They have the same kind of musical bite, but the delivery is much more melodic and digestible as a listener. When I discovered them, are started with the newest material and worked my way back. The lyrics though, my god, some of my favorite. Very personal and self analytic.

Gojira - The Shooting Star (Live 2018 Poland Rock),

Btw on your own time (or on the channel if you want) you should do the 2010 live version of Vacuity, the ending riff is earth shattering with the live version cause it's slightly faster and just performed so freaking well.

I remember the first Gojira reaction. It was outside in a nice spot on the grass near the water. Iuliia is sitting there shooting the video and some guy in the distance yells real loud: "What is that?" So Iuliia very nicely tells him that it's a light. Then he yells again: "A heater?" Too funny😌😌 I can't wait for outdoor Virginia reactions. Maybe one on the porch near the door of The House With The Red Door. A red door brings energy and strength you know...yeeessss.🏡

Omg, you remember it perfectly) I guess it’s gonna be outdoor while Sofee playing around, because i trapped with her - there is no daycare available, well - she never had a daycare yet) Except gym before COVID. I’m moving now. Yesterday came to my house to start clean it and somebody (old owners) so greedy didn’t pay for water, and I came to the house with no water and electricity. So, yesterday I went to the water department like adult, and still in shock, I’m adult!

I remember well the reaction to the song Flying Whales in open space that in front of a wonderfull Bay you connected it to Climate Change on Earth , very very clever and this reaction and explanation to Vacuity is also very smart and intelligent ! Gojira are a group to understand and reflecting at home but their best has given in concerts, I see them 5 times and they combine very hard and dark sounds with deep lyrics and atmospheres creating a deep mood at their concerts, the singer then is one of the most charismatic currently, philosophy psychology with hard and gloomy sounds like the reality they tell, like their Lusitan predecessors Moonspell that you should listen to. I'm glad that apart and crossing the line of the brutal and heavy sound that you don't like very much but you know how to appreciate their spirit and lyrics that as you rightly notice is important because certain fantastic groups like Wasp for example have always had very weak lyrics that have limited them in their awesome songs . However the gloomy outdoor of next Gojira's reaction I see suitable and perfect this winter in Virginia in the middle of cold snow mountains wolves, I recommend remember in November to do it 🤟😂

You should react to the band Nevermore. Not enough youtubers react to them and they are so good yet very underrated. You would probably like them a lot. Very heavy and aggressive, but they also had a very good singer with a great voice (very operatic voice) and a great virtuosic guitarist. This Godless Endeavor is their best album I think and the song Born is a good one to start with. The title track This Godless Endeavor is a masterpiece. I would love to see you react to that!!! By the way, Gojira is one of my favorite bands too.

I am not saying Gojira sucks, but I just feel what they are trying to do has already been done, and done much better. Why should I listen to Gojira when I can listen to the original and the band they wish they were? Influence is fine, but expand on it and give me something new and original. Pete Sandoval, David Vincent, and Trey Azagthoth are 3 of the most underrated musicians in the history of Metal.
