@@peanutty_poop I love that song! However the screaming isn't for the spooks. The sun weights approximately 1990 quatrillion tons so Joe has said that the screaming is more to reflect that. I also believe the drumming is more aggressive in here, nevertheless a good Halloween song for sure! :)

Last time I checked, the Duplantier brothers moved to NY. Leaving both christian and jean back in france. Now seeing them reunited in their Silver Cord studio in NY, I refuse to believe that it's for the sole purpose of recording this track. Brace yourself boys, new album is coming

The barely controlled chaos of this band is always intoxicating. Like it could fall apart into complete noise at any second, but at the same time just ridiculously tight. Mario Duplantier is an absolute fucking animal.

This band is perfection together. Joes vocals really make the power and aggression. Mario’s my favorite drummer on the planet. Christian is so cool and laid back and Jean Michael is such a beast bass player. You can’t replace any member.

xD Yeah ... he decided that the ride was not part of his sound, so he removed it. It's big meme now. It is kind of a wasted opportunity to never allow a ride in your songs, considering how fitting would often be, I agree with that. BUT to be fair he really did not play it often at all. It just collected dust for the 10+ years he had it there, throughout many of the song-sections where most other drummers (and myself) would reach for the ride. If you hate it like that then it's kinda fair to set your setup apart from others imo. He always made many ballsy moves and i think that is a respectable one. It took him time after all.

I love how they're all hyping each other up in that intro sequence haha

Whatever their releasing soon is going to kick ass. And the sheer amount of happiness I felt when I saw this come out was immeasurable!

I hope this is building up to a new album, cause that's what we need right now!

Joe's vocals sound fantastic! I sometimes worry about metal vocalists' voice changing considerably, it's understandable how someone's harsh vocals can change over years of using that style. But Joe still sounds great! Can't wait for the new record.

I already think that album sounds great, although it's one of the few metal albums in which I think the bass is a little too high in the mix. But the guitar tone on the album is maybe my favorite guitar they've had, after their tone on FMtS.
