Gojira - Global Warming (REACTION) with my wife

Ойын-сауық

We are back with Gojira and their 'Global Warming' song! We really enjoyed the sound! It is only our second song from them, but we have a feeling, not the last one! 😉

This song is so heartfelt that they won't play it live because he becomes emotionally unstable afterward. It truly haunts you and takes you through tides of emotions. Especially with lyrics. My first time ever hearing this it made me cry. At first out of hopelessness, then desperation and finally relief. It's one hell of a ride. Feels as if a ghost moves right through you.

This is definitely one of the more emotional songs they've done, especially the very sad and realistic lyrics on this live version where Joe's singing is much better than on the studio version !

This band is so special. In my opinion, the best metal band of my time. Fun fact: Aurora is a huge fan of them, she often mentions them in interviews and there are some photos of her headbanging at their shows :D

hell yeah, love gojira...Listen to L'enfant Sauvage live at red rocks it will give you chills, its pure magic! , Joe's voice is the only one that can express emotions even though he's screamming

cool a new Gojira reaction , this one is particular though , it might me be repetitive for some , but it's one of Gojira trademark , sometimes they like to put a riff in a loop , to makes you enter in a trans or something .But technically ,that song , the tempo and regularity are very hard to maintain with the tapping on the guitar . Another song you might like is "Silvera " about animals cruelty" i don't think you're ready yet to hear some of their earlier death metal materials as it 's way heavier .,tho you like Flying whales More grownling singing and stuff , so i'm trying to think about songs not too violent that you might like , their recent stuff is more accessible. so yeah Silvera , the gif of guilt live at brixton , Oroborus live eurockeenne 2009 ,Toxic garbage island live hellfest , Pray live at red rocks , l'enfant sauvage live brixton , Low lands ( abouT the passing of their mother during the recording of the album magma ), born in winter , tthe chant , bor for one thing , stranded that's a start ^^...and THEN maybe you will try to listen "the heaviest matter of the universe " or the art of dying " Backbone " " where dragons dwell" " wolf down the earth " " remembrance live the link alive 2003 ." Cool reaction !

I have seen them over ten times and have had the opportunity to meet them. They are gentleman and amazing musicians. Their lyrics leave me happy and also in tears. So much emotion. I love your reaction and would watch your podcast lol. Great review/reaction. Thank you for this.

This is a fantastic live performance but I like the album version much better. Someone posted a video of segments from Planet Earth with this song playing and it gave me chills "I feel like glaciers are my eyes / and mountains are my head / my heart is ocean"

@@jordanjoestar8839 fair enough, I can see why one would prefer this version - more desperation in his vocals, as one of the reactors noted - but I thought the studio version was perfect… I can certainly agree to disagree on this one

I would be very interested in listening to your "blah blah blah". Maybe you could sometimes go live and talk about wathever comes to your mind and also we would be able to interact through chat. I think that would be amazig. 🖤

As a massive Gojira fan, this one’s a bit too repetitive for me. Next up in your Gojira adventure, i’d stay in their second half of their musical carreer and then slowly go back in the early heavier days. Up next Gift of Guilt live at Brixton Academy!

Gojira is a good prog/death metal band, but their work is very uneven with some songs that are great but some that are just meh. I have to say I prefer listening to Opeth and Be'lakor for melodic death metal. I'll stay out of the whole "climate change" thing except to say the political rhetoric has buried the science and eliminated any possibility of a rational discussion. Great reaction, keep rocking.
