Maybe cus Prom is mostly seen as a senior thing. So maybe they want it to be just a bit more special for Seniors since it is their last dance and stuff.

@@genuinelydying that’s why i said it gave me the vibe, everyone I’ve ever met that’s made significantly more than their friends had been taken advantage of. It’s human nature. I was happy to pay until I realized what that made me to my friends, and when you stop giving, whether it be because you’re trying to save money, feel unappreciated or aren’t making the same money anymore, you’re lucky if anyone sticks around.

i didn't go to my junior prom this school year but *if* i did go to my senior prom next school year, i always imagined wearing a really cute and beautiful dress at prom but then there's like a part of me that wants to wear a suit because they look really cool and while i wouldn't say i dislike dresses, i'm not really a big fan of them, although i don't mind wearing them if it's for like a few hours or so but tbh, i haven't worn a dress in like, years probably lol.
