My wife is a very high level interpreter and translator - for the UN, U.K. government institutions etc. she confirms that the additional text in the Dutch version is NOT AND NEVER CAN BE a translation error. The translator translated what he/she read in English. The text was there in the English version he/she was assigned to translate. I am a publisher of a small magazine and have published books as well as magazines over the last 30 years. The text which was translated into Dutch was either supplied by Scobie (99.99% likely) or was written in English and inserted into the text sent to the translators in Holland for translation into Dutch. Scobie is a proven liar. He lied about being briefed by the Markles for Finding Freedom. He lied about Piers Morgan and invented conversations with Queen Camilla. He is the mouthpiece of the entirely fabricated New York car chase at 80 miles an hour through gridlocked traffic. Scobie is nothing other than a fantasist who is personally dedicated to pouring vile hatred and scorn on members of the Royal Family. He does this at the bidding and prompting of the Markles and he May now be doing it for money and his own personal grievances. I have family members of mixed race and we speculated on what the babies would look like, I can honestly say that if they had been sky blue pink with yellow polkadots they would have been a beautiful addition to our family. How anyone could think that there was an error in translation is an absolute idiot, a translator can only translate the script in front of them and not add or subtract from what they see. Who edited the book? All speculative material should have been removed. The RF will remain silent. Because the "tidbit" in Scobie's book has been publicly revealed, no one will need to buy the book. As a result, Scobie's profits will plummet. As for the titles, it doesn't really matter.

Of course it was Intentional. Scobie had two different versions of the book. One for the UK & US, the other version that has the names was for the rest of Europe. He thought he was being very sneaky. Neither Harry nor Meghan have denounced the book, so everyone knows that they approved of it probably even wrote most, if not all of it. They will let scabies take the fall for any negative backlash and that will be Meghan’s excuse to cut him loose now that she’s done using him. Then if they say anything they will play victim once again.

The Dutch version had a small number of books that would need to be pulled and deleted. If it had appeared in either Spain or France, the number of books would have been much larger. This was very well planned! A name can't be mistranslated. Titles have to be removed by Parliament and that law is being discussed and will be up for a vote, hopefully soon.

Of all the errors one could make, what are the odds that it involves accidentally divulging the names of RF members who, allegedly, are racists ? I hope someone sees the inside of a courtroom.

For someone with an degree in International affairs from SWU she certainly didn't know much about other countries, cultures and practices, emmm might that be racism?

Imagine releasing that book in a country where the King, King Willem is related to our Royal family. King Willem & Queen Maxima would wipe the floor with the Ken doll if he dared to put in an appearance .

The Monarchy and Parliament need to take action. Remove them and their titles.

If William was done with Harry before, he's OVER DONE, now. Megs has had an axe to grind with Catherine for a long time. Extraordinarily jealous of her, for obvious reasons - Catherine is everything she's ever wanted to be. I fully suspect Megs is behind the book, is privately gleeful and doing her strange "high hand" clap. I can see this backfiring on her, Haz and Omid Scoobie Doo Doo in the worst way. Take away their titles. It's way past time.

I think the Dutch association of translators (if there is such a group) should sue scabies for accusing one them of behaving unprofessionally. No self-respecting & law-abiding translator would add or remove passages from a transcript they are translating.

When William said 'The royal family is definitely not racist,' that was a clear denial, when harry used semantics 'racism v unconscious bias' that was a non-denial denial when everyone and his dog knew what they were implying (for clickbait, for MONEY). This is gone too far now. When is the King going to say enough is enough, I know he loves his son, but his son is 40 years old now and King Charles needs to let him go. Ask parliament to strip their title and let them live their lives.

Strange that race never came up in MM's life until she joined the royal family. Then, race became a weapon for her to try to get her way. We have been seeing the past 5 years of that end result of anyone thwarting this woman's ambitions and overwhelming greed.

A book goes through so many levels of processing - and this one would have included legal scrutiny - before it hits the shelves, this could not possibly have happened by accident. The only person who knew those two names was Omid Scobie. There was no error in translation. A name is a name is a name. I hope the RF's formidable lawyers, Harbottle & Lewis, go after 1)Scobie and 2) the Dutch publisher for millions. Hopefully, money for the Early Childhood initiative and the Prince's Trust to help fund all the good they do in providing opportunities for the needy, the deprived and the lost.

Meghan has just made Wallis Simpson look like a Choir Girl. Parliament needs to do their job NOW and remove their titles, including the alleged children’s. I hope that the translator of the Dutch version will address this issue. Their name should be on every print. They need to defend themselves as a professional, unless they received a massive payout for certain reasons. Either way it's very unprofessional!🤦‍♀️And the Sussexes' titles need to be taken.

As for their victim status, they can scream and play the victim card as much as they want, but unless they can prove that they didn't have any input, directly or indirectly, they are compromised and complicit.

Well, the royal lawyers should be all over this, asking for details around of how the manuscript is sent to be translated and who sent it. And, have all copies been pulled from shelves? Also, what was the racist conversation, what was said, who was talking, when it happened, etc..

POINTS OF INCONSISTENCY Markle told Winfrey there were “conversations” - plural. She said the conversations were with her husband. She implied it was while she was pregnant. Harry said there was just one conversation BEFORE the wedding. That is - BEFORE she was pregnant. In the Tom Bratby interview, Harry said that the matter was not a “racist” one but “unconscious bias.” So - was there ONE or TWO (or more) conversations? What evidence is there that ANY letters were sent by The King or any one else to the Markle woman? What has the Princess of Wales got to do with any conversations? Scobie is already proved an UTTER LIAR. He is a scoundrel who every word should be disbelieved until proven forensically.

If the conversation was with Harry, he must have told Meg, who naturally decided to run with it, so she could play the race card. Harry must have felt bad (I hope he did, the rat) and hence later said that the royal family weren’t racist (apparently completely forgetting he and his wife received an award for “opposing structural racism in the royal family”).

Scoobie doo already came out in one of his interviews before the book was released saying he couldn't name anyone in the book due to UK LAW then oopsie do, it appears in a Dutch version!!!! Come on that's totally unbelievable, then to say it's a translation error no way!!!! Names are the same in any language!!! Scoobie would have had many copies of the book as it will have gone backwards and forwards to solicitors to check over before it could get released. So my question would be who sent a previous unedited, unchecked by lawyers PDF to Holland!!! 🤔 Did the harkles have an old version proof copy, did Scoobie have an old version proof copy before lawyers had the final say on the book before the final version was cleared for publication 🤔 There's dirty fingerprints all over this IMO.

I watched Oprah religiously -for 20 years, was a Super Soul Sunday regular! After the infamous interview full of mistruths -I started seeing her for who she really is. As Oprah taught us all: When someone shows you who they are Remember… Harry, Megan and now Oprah have all revealed themselves. And yes, the world will remember.

Obviously a different version of the book was sent to the Dutch publisher. That is not a publishing error or a translation error. Did Scobie send a different version of his book to the Dutch publisher on purpose or accidentally?

Scoobs thought he could slyly reveal the names while avoiding UK Defamation laws. Time we called him out - show us the evidence, name the sources, give the context, Scobie. And then pay the compensation.

It's insane. It is a attack to KC and the Princess of Wales. Pulling the book out of the web shops already have cost the publisher €100.000 and the book is NOT coming back! The same happen in Italy 🇳🇱

Scooby made sure the information got out, he couldn't put it in the uk books so thinking he could protect himself put it in the dutch books. This was probably a meme plan, it reeks of her ugly soul, trying to inflict as much damage as she can on the Royals especially Catherine...i dont think a lot of people including myself have seen so openly such underhand behaviour. There are no words to express the contempt of the harkles and scoobys actions...i feel ashamed of Harry being part of this...

They need to say 2 words, "We're sorry', pack up their things, put the house on the market, and quietly move to a small, more remote country for 5 years minimum, either growing vegetables or doing (that's actually DOING!) some locally-based charity work. While quietly contemplating themselves, their past actions, the hurt they've caused to others, their motivations, and who they truly want to be as human beings, and what they could do to fulfill that vision

If I were that Dutch publishing agent, I would sue Harper-Collins and Scabies for besmirching my reputation. This could have financial implications for them, as other authors and publishing houses may be reluctant to use them for fear of inaccurate translations.

Black American woman here, I don’t know much about Charles but I’ve been watching Catherine since the 2011 wedding. There is tons of video evidence of Catherine being equally warm and tender to people (especially children) of every race.

Who puts private letters/emails out for the public? Meghan does. Her dad’s letter- People magazine, emails with Katherine in Spare and now private correspondence with the King (how else would Omid get it?). This is what she and Harry do. The King was prudent when he told the family to be careful of what they say around them.

I thought she was bad news the first time I saw her on TV and the fact she was an actress confirmed my opinion. The King and Princess of Wales would be the last people I'd think of as racist

My friend and I flew over to the UK to stand and watch H&M's carriage go by. It was so exciting. But my opinion changed drastically when they left the RF, particularly after the Netflix doc. And shame on Scobie.
