@@manishm5300 yes! you can read the six of crows duology without having read the shadow and bony trilogy. i personally liked the soc duology more because the story line and the characters were way more fascinating but i would recommend both

I just bought last Wednesday can’t wait to read it!!

I’m currently reading dune, but I’ve seen the move multiple times!! It’s soooo good!!! The book focuses more on sci-fi and that stuff, while the movie focuses on more action! I love it!

The ruthless elimination of hurry is so good! Literally life changing!

Nancy Drew was AMAZING! I had half the series because I got my mom's collection of them as well as a few new books!! Also, Six of Crows is AMAZING!!! It's so heartwarming!!!

This has helped me so much, I usually stick to what I know when I comes to bookstores so it’s nice to see some other places I can branch out to in my area

I would definitely pick up Dune! I'm about 200 pages in rn and I love it, you kinda get hit with new jargon but Frank Herbert does a good job at immersing the reader and of explaining the functions of all the new things really well. You get context for everything quickly and it's been a fun ride so far!

I love Dune! It's one of my favorite books of all time. There is quite a learning curve at the beginning though. The blind date with books is such a cool idea.

If you like some funny romance books I would recommend “Let it snow” It’s a really cute book with three stories that are interconnected. I am not sure you would really enjoy it but it was a 4/5 for me

Eleanor and park is one of my favorite books. I think maybe little humans in middle school shouldn’t read it but high school is totally fine. I think it shows the worst and the best in people, it’s an amazing book, you should definitely read it. Love it, re-read it every year.

i recommend you to read the shadow and bone trilogy first before six of crows, cause there are spoilers of the trilogy in the six of crows. but it's still up to you

I would love to add I tried the 24 book challenge unfortunately I only made it about 5-10 hours but I honestly had a lot of fun but it’s hard to stay focused if the book isn’t so hooking.

Your library is also my local library. Not only did it used to be a movie theater, but a scene of Dazed and Confused was filmed there in the parking lot. Also, the director of Dazed and Confused (Richard Linklater) lives nearby, and he also directed Where Did You Go Bernadette? !

Dune is absolutely worth the read, but it is hard sci-fi and heavy on politics so I had to discuss the book with my fiance while reading it in order to fully comprehend it since he had already read it. I'm not usually into sci-fi at all but it's one of my favorite books of all time and the 2nd one is even better! 👌🏼

Hello!! Dune reader here! I've just recently finished reading Dune and I would totally recommend it if you are willing to commit to it. For me it was a bit difficult to follow in the beginning and by watching the movie and looking to the glossary in the back helped me a TON. By the end of it I was engulfed by this crazy story of cultural, political, and religious events in the world of Dune. Loved it very much ❤

I really reccomend you to get some Nicolas Sparks books, they have the best romance I've read and just made me cry. I hope you read a walk to remember and dear john, they both have movies! so so good!

Dune was the book that started my whole "getting back to reading for fun" journey. I would really recommend it especially if you ever were a YA dystopian sci-fi girlie like I was back in the day lol. Fantastic world-building and really unique characters. Moves pretty slow but I personally love how much Frank Herbert takes the time to explain all of these details to make the world seem more tangible. I also loved how the movie had a subtle feminist angle to it as well that was partly from the director's appreciation/interpretation of the book.

You should do a video where you show us all of your books that you have
