Going this year for the first time. Patiently waiting for them to release the line up

Great video. I remember my first EMF trying to figure out the Superlounge scenario and heard that XScape's lounge was so packed, people were outside listening the whole time. Thankfully they were on the Mainstage the following year. I'm excited about Missy (hope she brings out Lizzo). Again, great info-thanks for posting!

Definitely braids. Yaaasss to rompers. But there are a ton of day parties so make sure to bring a couple party dresses. That parking cost ain’t no joke 😏. Bourbon is so dirty. Once was enough for me 😂🤣. There’s a fried chicken place on Bourbon St. that’s bomb though 🙌🏾.

This year is going to be my first. I learned a lot from your video. Is it worth it to buy the 3 days tickets, or just buy a few acts?

Thank you so much for watching! I personally never buy the 3 day tickets. I just buy the single day tickets. The ticket will allow you to see all acts for that night. You just have to plan accordingly. Some are on the main stage, and some are in the Super Lounges. So if there’s someone you want to see all three nights, since it’s your first time. I would get the 3 day, if not I would wait until the single night shows go on sale! Hope this helps, I can’t wait to return this summer!

I Have been to New Orlean since 2005 for wedding anniversary . We stay in a hotel on Bourbon. you are right Houston is 5 hour. I want to back in the near future.

Hi!! So, couple questions lol... I’m a lil confused w/ the ticketing. Do we have to purchase tix to GET IN the convention center? And what about the different seminars and or panels, is that separate tix that can or need to be purchased as well? Cuz on their website all I’m seeing right now is the general admission for the evening concerts (are all three nights of concerts included?) and VIP packages which are like $3,000 and up... 👀 Thanks in advance!

Hey beauty, thank you for checking out my video! So everything happening at the convention center is FREE!! Panels, concerts, seminars etc. In order to get into the convention center you will need to download the essence festival app. Sign up and they’ll send your barcode or it will already be there. I can’t remember, but this part is new. You used to be able to just go through security and you’re in. Now for the shows at night, I would definitely wait! They haven’t announced the lineups yet. Those tickets like you stated now are for 3 days VIP. They should be announcing the performers very soon. Also follow them on fb for updates! I hear it’s 5 days this year! Hope this helps, thanks again!! ❤️✨

Purpose Fulfilled Hi Purpose, thank you for watching. Let me try to help, it can be confusing. So they have announced the line up. Supposedly more are being added, so that’s good. As far as tickets go they have only released the 3 day packages. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some people like myself don’t go all three nights to the Superdome. I buy single night tickets, they have not released those tickets yet. So if you are interested in going all three nights, now is the time to buy. Hopefully the lineup is complete by April/May. That way if you don’t want to go all 3 nights you will know who’s performing what night and just buy one ticket for that night. I hope this helps and makes sense. You can also email me as well. Idk why they do it like this. It can be very confusing for first timers.

What are some good hotels to stay on canal street that is central to essence ,convention center

My favorite my hotel on canal is The Sheraton. The Hilton Riverside, Lowe’s hotel and Hilton Garden Inn convention center are all within walking distance though. Thanks for watching!

What was the bags regulations?

Hand bags must be clear and 12” x 6” x 12” in size or a small clutch bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. Anything outside of those limitations will not be allowed to enter into the Superdome. Thanks for watching!

I went to Morrows and the service was absolutely horrible, would never step foot in there again
