It looks like the various items were stolen for someone elses hidden flat in the zone. I'm not sure there's much mileage in keeping rebuilding stuff that gets stolen so fast. Maybe better to work out a place that really is hidden well if you want to stay there.

There is remote lone houses and such all around Chernobyl that are very run down and have probably not been decorated since the disaster so no doubt if they see new shit they will defo take it, there are no shops around for miles, and they live off radioactive fish and foraging.

Go to a different building and build a new flat. This time pile debris in the hallway to the ceiling to discourage entry. Maybe build a false wall to hide the door. Hide or Lock all your valuables in a different place/room before you leave so nothing is in the same room. Make it as difficult as possible. Good luck 👍

They fake wall idea is good but hard to do. Those block houses are all the same, every flat has the same walls. So Stalkers will notice quickly

the only way would be to erect a wall where door is. paint it ,and like you say ,pile up debris. to get in .. do it from apartment above or below, from the balcony... but than again.. if assholes are determined to get in . they will find a way .

I think the guy thought if he made the area look nice then others would also do the same so there wouldn't be as much need to hide everything. People who are there already may not like the idea of new people in the area.

@@EstMiilo Actually "cops" or guards could have done this. Those guys often happen to be just pieces of shit. They are expected to do things like this to prevent KREOSAN guys from coming back. Like a warning. But we don't know who did this. We can only guess. But no... We know who did this: whoever it was, they were the trash.

pretty sure the stalkers would find anything. Sorry to say it but these are not the only guys in Pripyat. People scavenge stuff, I don't think they watched YT and said shit i know where that is. They probably look around every place all the time.

I feel your pain, all that work you guys put into the project.. Anton you are a good man.

I felt those tears, they tried to do some good, but it just got destroyed. It was such a nice project, some people really are out of their minds, even leaving such a message. The end was hella scary... but I hope you will take on even cooler projects in the future, that would be nice and hopefully youTube won´t delete the video again, stay safe out there.

@@Francois_Dupont the location isn't fake obviously, so if you really wanted, you could go to pripyat and just do literally the same exact thing; nothing would stop you. Based on this alone, if we ignore the fact that there are already dozens of other stalkers within the zone, chances are really high that 'someone' had paid a visit while they were away.

It's because the true stalkers care about Pripyat and the exclusion zone, they respect it. It's somewhere special to go for them.

this is a great series, ive squatted houses myself when i was in my early teens, i loved getting the electricity to work, getting furniture and making it livable :)

@@windshield11 Trust me, the more low tech, the more reliable. Use the KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid. This isn't intendended as an insult, it's actually a rule used by engineers when designing something. Better to just sound like random trash clanging around rather than some sophisticated alarm system that would definitely give up their position as well as cause unwanted curiousity. Just my 2 cents.

@@tomecalm7 I thought of that but dude if they can't wake up to this guy making noise then he'll have more than enough time to do something about the string of cans. The thyristor and super thin copper wire are a latching system, and you can't turn the alarm off until you turn all the power off to the system. It's not like you need to have some super loud siren, a small dc motor vibrator placed under your pillow will wake you up as well, without making too much noise. Anyways, they did a big mistake with nobody keeping guard, aka staying on watch during the night.

I am SO sorry that someone ruined your place like that.. makes me so sad. I love what you guys were/are trying to do!! Would love to be a part if that and help you repair! The end of this video was DEFINITELY freaking me out! Imagine waking up and seeing that light flashing into your room.... AGHHH! Can't wait to see what happens next! Hopefully nothing bad.....

I’m planning to visit next May. I’m going with private Chernobyl tour. He just does private tours no big groups. A little more expensive but since I am coming from Vancouver I want the whole experience.

@kinghayder there are only hot spots I’m told. If you go with a guide they keep you clear of those hot stops. It’s perfectly safe to visit Chernobyl.

Damn. I was totally freaking out at the end. Imagine being laid there awake and seeing that! I would freeze with fear!

Thees episodes lag about a half year behind their Ukranian youtube channel. You can watch it there using auto translated closed captioning subtitles if you do not want to wait for English translation, that is what I do.

If they really wanna set up an apartment in Pripyat, their best bet is to start over in a new place and actually keep it hidden next time. This apartment was found because they showed too much. Doing things like setting traps or going out for revenge will not help them. That would only bring along its own set of problems. Like the other guy said, prevention. And this can only be prevented by keeping the place hidden

I've always noticed something strange since I knew about Pripyat years ago, is if they had to evacuate in emergency and no one should go back home again, then why are those flats so empty? I mean don't people there had TVs, stereos? where do they used to cook and seat to eat? Sure the guards has been taking all those properties for them since the very beginning.

You should build a fake wall or bookshelf to hide the next hideout. People can easily move debris and they can easily find all rooms. But if you build a fake wall, it will make it harder to find. Great channel and great videos so far. I hope you restore another room soon!

13:47 you can spot the orb next to the bottle that fell while you were sleeping & I guarantee that's what made it fall. You can see the bottle moving little by little after the orb appeared. Ive also noticed a few orbs in this video as you guys were trying to sleep & a lot of other orbs in videos like this in Chernobyl so im sure theres spirits there that are making noises you guys end up hearing.

i have actually seen something in the video, at time 7:36 look behind the guy on right's backpack at the building i nthe window, right after this time as they say otherwise we dont have a place to stay for night, thatts when something appears in the video, not many people noticed that

I love these videos.....amazing work indeed!!

I like to think whoever stole all that stuff really needed it more than 'stalkers' did. But still, unacceptable. There's a hidden cabin along a remote trail I go on every few months and similar story: It was great and had supplies for anyone stopping by, but park rangers found it, took anything of value and completely trashed the rest of the cabin and filled it with tree branches to try to prevent anyone else from using it. They'd probably have burned it down if it weren't so close to other trees. I'm surprised and happy to see it has been restored yet again last time I was up there, but no longer a safe place I fear.
