That has been my experience, as well. I lived in Arizona, on Rt. 66 very near Laughlin for 10 years in the 90's, and our little tourist town was always popular, and always crazy during the Laughlin River Run. Big tippers, easy to please (As a cook, I found that the food didn't have to be fancy, just had to be good, and you have to have a LOT of it!) They helped bus tables, and were ALWAYS respectful and patient with us workers who were trying to deal with unbelievable crowds. The very few instances I saw of bikers getting out of hand were handled very efficiently by their own people, and almost unseen to the public. As a class of people, Bikers were my favorite customers; much nicer than the whiny idiots on the tour busses.
I’m a solo rider and always been since I was a kid. To me riding a motorcycle represents freedom. Even my father labeled me as a lone wolf when I was a kid. Don’t get me wrong, I love people and enjoy talking to people. I just don’t like rules and I don’t like anyone trying to lead me around. They go left, I go right. That has always been my nature. The only rule I do live by is always give a man respect and his dignity. And I want exactly the same in return.

I was invited to many parties, and I attended several. 😂 I also ride so it was a very cool experience to just be a civilian that also loves to ride and got to party with some angels. Nicest group of men you’ll ever come across in my opinion they absolutely love to ride and talk about their motorcycles. And I’m sure that most of the organization is like this, but at this particular chapter, they did a lot to help their community and did a lot of charity work. More rules than the military
Can't stress this enough. When you're a guest at a biker party/clubhouse always and i mean ALWAYS assume that any female you may encounter is with someone. Cos they probably are one way or another. The first question you ask - tho politely - is: are you with someone? and then you walk up to that someone and ask - again POLITELY - : look, i know you are with that woman over there. would you mind if i kept her company/entertained her for a while? He will either tell you to not engage. Then DON'T! or he will give you the green light. in that case you might step up and talk to her. but - and that is important - keep it PG-13. No dirty jokes, no touching, no feeling up, etc. treat her as if she was your own mother/grandma. When you leave you want to leave with a good enough impression that you get considered to be invited back in next time, don't you? So, general rule: don't be a fool and keep your hands to yourself.
Hey man thanks for the information it's important to know these things much respect for you guys and good luck this year

Hey Sose. I'm an old man who started riding in my teens. The one thing I always made a rule when crossing paths with any club was respect. I respect the brotherhood and I respect that each member earned their patch. I've talked with Mongols, Red and White and have gone to Iron Nation events. I always felt respected. I respect the brotherhood of whatever patch they wear and what you shared I've learned over the years. I must be doing something right because I haven't had my ass handed to me yet. Don’t waste your time. I was raised in a 1% lifestyle. My father was a first generation. He was patch before I was born. You know how it turned out. Our family was destroyed by the club. He died from meth and alcohol Cirrhosis. With his intestines in his ball sack. Living in a run down trailer. He started the chapter in the area he lived. The president during the time he died, was the a probate that my dad brought into the club when I was a kid. The only thing he wanted was to for me to have his bike. So on the day of his patch burning his so called brothers lied and said his bike was in a show and they would get it to me. Never happened. Nothing but lying snitching wastes of life. They are not your brothers they are not your family.
I like your show, and you give a lot of good advice! I was with a buddy in a bar in a small town in Nevada playing pool when a couple patched members of a certain California MC walked in. Hi, speaking as an officer in a Club here in the UK I have to say I agree with pretty much everything you've just said, although here in the UK I've never heard of it being an issue to carry your helmet into a Clubhouse. We have helmet storage areas in ours. Some that we go to also do. I guess over your side of the pond though the weather is awesome most of the time so you can leave your lid on the bike. We do that most of the time. The lone wolf thing is maybe more of an issue here. We have different Patch placement here. There is a video on my channel that touches on this. "Why join a Motorcycle club". Over here somebody wearing something like the Lone Wolf crap is blatantly pretending to be something they are not. I had a polite word with a guy earlier this year that had a pretend 3 piece back patch. The Top Rocker said " If I have to explain you won't understand " . I couldn't just leave that so I had to explain to the guy. He removed it. There is a video series on my channel right now where I go to Austria & to my disgust you could buy a 1% Diamond & everything else there. The " pretend Back Patches " were all over the place there. Check it out. It seems things are very different in that part of Europe. Things are very serious here in the UK. Anyway great video LH&R

@SoseTheGhost that would be cool. Well check it out and see what you think. You may have to skip through to where we actually arrive in Faaker See in Austria. Unless you mean the "Why join a motorcycle club" video.
Yep. Support the bar. I didn't know the rules and brought my own beer to a metal show at a clubhouse. They let me know the deal. I made up for it with frequent purchases, tipping, and donating to this impossible to win dice game. All was well.
Sounds like too much of a headache to even bother
I was actually invited to an MC club party once upon a time and I went. I had a great time. I did one thing though which could have been a bad situation. The clubhouse was secluded in the woods of course. There was no parking lot or parking. There were just places to park your bike. I straight up parked my bike over by a tree out of the way or so I thought. Then there was a club member who parked his bike less than inches away from mine. Then, the club member who was my friend came to me, made me aware of it and told me that I had unknowingly parked in that members favorite place to park his bike. My friend who was the club member who invited me helped me move my bike and said, just don't worry about it. DO NOT say anything about it and just know that guy is an a-hole. LoL. :) That was it.
Each to his own. But I wouldn’t enjoy a party where I had to constantly be aware of obscure rules and politics to keep from getting smashed up. If I wanted to deal with that I’d just go to prison. Interesting video, though.
This all GOOD info and may save someone from a terrible ass whipping. Keep the straight dope coming Brother Sose, Smashin the like button ALWAYS #ghostin

My brother belongs to a club and he invited me to a party. I didn’t want to go because I was insecure about my burn scars from the right side of my face all the down to my hip due to a water heater blast. I ended up going and my brother told me the same basics you said. I made a lot of friends that night and I had a lot of fun. I even go fishing with one of his brothers. I don’t know if that’s the term. I’m just an odd hillbilly that works on junk cars and keeps to himself.

@Paul Rallys Ghost it was bad. It was due to a gas leak. I was standing 16 feet from it when it went off. It threw me into the woods according to what people seen. It happened so fast, the only thing I remember is nurses in the emergency room scrambling and talking about I.V drips and hearing my brother freaking out. I was burned from scalding hot water and heat. This all happened 17 years ago. I’m doing great now. I just take meds from suffering from brain damage. I do all right. My brother takes good care of me. I’m just a regular private person.

LOVE YOUR RIDE BROTHER!! SHE IS WICKED TO THE CORE!!WOW SHE IS SWEET!! Thank You for the advice on showing respect at a CLUB"S PARTY....to me that is a serious need to know!!
Couple other things I've learned from diamond club patch holders: Never bring a weapon into the clubhouse EVER. Never lock your bike when you park in their lot because it shows that you don't trust the prospect(s) tasked with guarding the bikes. Never initiate a handshake with a prospect or PH you don't already know well. Don't stare at anyone. And even if you don't drink, always tip the bar. Bring a C-note for the club if you can afford it.

I have never been invited to a outlaw motorcycle club party 😆 if I ever was, and I found out about it while there. I would just leave and laugh a little in the car 😆
“Motorcycle club invites me to party” like that will ever happen. Might as well be watching a video on what not to do if I’m ever on the moon

Big rule I’ve witnessed is not asking a lot of questions about the MC. I hung out with group of Hells Angels at a Halloween event in the town I live in. Some of the guys were pretty chill and didn’t mind answering simple questions. This is good info to know. I like your videos. Keep up the great work.

@Sose the Ghost As a Support Staff person myself, I try to do all that you've been hitting on. On one occasion, being introduced to a local HA President, I was reprimanded for not executing it properly by my President. Two of us drive Safety/Recovery vehicle for our *Riding Group* (Non MC , or 1%,), but as Support Staff we and others have respect because we earn/gain it by acting properly and respectfully. Love your vids and words, as some do not understand motorcycle etiquette, or are just oblivious to the rules, regs, and culture of the Club or Rider. One Love Brother.! Keep on posting.! Some time ago I was riding my 150cc scooter on the highway and was caught in the rain. I parked under an overpass to wait it out. 5 minutes later a biker gang rolled up and parked right behind me. 30 bikers deep and suddenly the leader approached me - I dang near soiled myself. We shook hands, they offered me a beer ( I supported the bar) and we had a great conversation about our bikes. Cool dudes doing their thing. The rain passed, we went our separate ways.
Though I’ve always found the whole thing cartoonish and ridiculous, from my experience in the community I know that it is nonetheless deadly truthful and serious. Knowing your place and acting with genuine respect for the Patch in whatever form it may appear is key to a good time and a safe ride home. Trying to convince those who have never experienced the “gang” mentality can be an exercise in futility, but regardless of their doubt or disbelief their first encounter with the wrong person or group could be their last. I find that taking away any excuse to be harassed without being a kiss-ass or bitch is the best policy, especially if you find yourself at places that they tend to also frequent.
And, don't EVER walk into a mob bar and spray the bartender with beer, or else you'll hear "Now, you's can't leave!"
Imagine being an outlaw and thinking you are cool, and then realizing you have to abide by all the rules and pay respects
Subbed to Demons Row TV recently. Just subbed here. Love Sose work, everything is real. Love it. Mad love and prayers from Tennessee 🧡💪🏼🇺🇸.

I've been in and around the culture since the late 60s. I was accepted as a friendly but knew I was not in the club, had no privileges and was only welcomed onto club property or club "occasions" when invited. Being life long buddies with members, club officers and even the club President only granted me Stature when they were at my house. Give Respect to get Respect, know your place.
Its just plain respect. Learn who you are in that situation, a NOBODY. Greet those you are partying with, dont speak unless spoken to, respect those above, and know when to call it quits.
Appreciated! Thanks for putting this out there. Respect always

Being in an MC reminds me of my time at Cambridge - there are rules when you visit another college for a party: - don't walk on the grass - don't touch anyone else's gown - don't pass the sherry the wrong way along the table - if the penny lands in your drink, you must drink - never wear any clothing with your college name on it - it's a huge faux pas and just for tourists.
#GHOSTIN Even when I quit drinking if I'm at a clubhouse I make it a point to drop a 20 in the tip jar no matter what. Sose always with the good advice for the Youngbloods or the less informed your doing a good service. ML&R

Number 1 rule I learned when I use to ride with an RC? Is don't touch the patch when you guys give a hug. That could cause a definite problem
*Sounds like the exact same advice to be followed when invited by a USMC officer to go to the O Club. Be a gentleman, do not touch uniforms or question their medals, do not approach women and be respectful if one talks to you. DO NOT GET DRUNK*

This gotta be an American thing. Wearing shades inside, shaking hands with gloves, making sure a girl isn’t taken, and not getting blacked out in a new space is common sense of being a man.

It isn't. MC clubs are literally all over the world. If the place has motorcycles, it has MC Clubs. You're just sheltered and don't know shit about your own surroundings even.
Some people CAN'T drink. Genetically unable. Don't be ashamed. Its not under your control. Know your limit, everywhere, not just at a clubhouse.
Alot of good info Sose. I was invited to a clubhouse for a party and an ol lady who had a few too many started really hitting on me. I tried to be stand offish without being disrepectful. I got out of the sjtuation by excusing myself to introduce myself to the P and thank him for the invite. The SOA, who invited me escorted me in that endeavor and all went well but i was scared shitless for a bit. I in no way wanted that kind of attention. I do alot of charity rides with several different clubs and have never had a problem with anybody. I probably will steer clear of anymore clubhouse invites though.

I ended up at an MC party, we got invited but had no idea they were the real deal. They had guys checking drivers licenses on the driveway and they wouldn’t let us leave at the end of the night cuz there were a ton of cops waiting at the end of the driveway. They had the gate closed and locked lol. These guys had bbqs going, beer on ice, chilli, tattoo artist set up in the garage, huge bon fire. These guys were so welcoming and friendly we had a blast. But at the end of the night they wouldn’t let us leave. A group of them were nice enough to let us crash in a trailer, cold as fuck but it was safer than dealing with the cops. Super cool dudes, would love to do it again.
Thank you for the tips. I feel most is common sense. But some things are not known to me. I needed to hear this. As I want to someday be a hang around and I'd like to do everything right. I need that resepct 🙏 and Loyalty in my life

Never touch the door in a clubhouse, always ask a member to let you out. Your best bet going to a MC Clubhouse is to stfu unless spoken to, always appear grateful for being there, and stfu unless spoken to.
I'm not in to the motorcycle club thing but if I was this video would help out a great deal. The advice in this video can keep one from getting in big trouble for being ignorant of the rules which govern the outlaw biker world. Young men looking to join clubs should probably watch this video at least twice so the lessons sink in.
This is all very simple stuff that those who know take for granted. From my former military experience to growing up and being around 1% and even just the Harley riders groups, the stuff he’s saying could save your life and definitely get you some respect if that’s what you’re after (make sure you give it first though).

Lots more freedom back when I was active. Now there's more rules than Sunday School. That's ironic, because the original impetus of the outlaw biker was opposition to being told what to do.

Where you can ride, when, with who, who you can talk to, what bars you can go to so you don't offend other clubs (even not wearing a vest), etc etc. The politics is what kills it.
