No matter how many times I watch this (and by many I mean MANY lmao), Mingyu turned the game around. Mingyu was and still is amazing at almost everything. He's just a big softie so he often let the other members have their way. I don't think anyone would disagree when I say he is a total package.

The way DK just casually said to Hoshi the facts that he can do well because it was Hoshi that was by his side... it was just heartwarming...I mean we all know how much Hoshi felt like he was lacking in sports..

So glad Vernon’s team won, I feel like they were the underdogs and even played again for the other team to have a chance. Their hugs and teamwork was impeccable!

I just love the chemistry between the '97 liners. Mingyu being the strength, Dk being the cheerleader and The8 being the brave one to speak for everyone. Vernon's team is undoubtedly weak at first but they managed to turn the tables. I'm so proud on their team also their teamwork is so good. I hope they're going to recreate this one and play soccer instead. I love it when they're playing sports because I can see that they're really enjoying it❤❤

Mingyu had the best players with good physical characteristics and sporting qualities. He and DK are always athletes, Vernon is fast and skilled at soccer, Jun and Hoshi are fast. And the most important thing is that they don't get tired easily, they have good battery life. Here intelligence had to be combined with the athlete.

MANNN Seungkwan was amazing the whole game, especially when he caught the ball at 11:54. Boo needs more recognition!!!

Coming back to watch this again after some time made me realize they were all deserving of the MVP title. Joshua, Hoshi and Wonwoo - trying their hardest even though sports arent their strong points. Jun and Scoups - taking the high pressure roll of the pitcher and doing it well Jeonghan and Woozi - guiding their team, making plays and supporting the team Vernon - being a solid and encouraging leader Seungkwan and Mingyu - pure athleticism and ace moments Dk - another ace and supportive angel Dino - kicking the impossible water ball and bringing laughter Minghao - coming out to participate even though he's injured and probably could've stayed home. Also for being the cutest umpire lol

Always! Always! Remember! No matter how competitive Han, Scoups, and Seungkwan could get most of the times, Mingyu and DK is a pair of clumsy, scaredy cats that really excel at sports ! Have them grouped with a nimble Jun, an aggressive Dino, a hardworking Vernon, and a lucky-ass Hoshi makes them a really really good A team 😭 So yeah DK, of course you will do damn good with how sporty your team is, why are you guys always so surprised? This was such a good match omg In the first match, Jeonghan's team was way on the lead then Vernon's team made a massive comeback and was able to have a wide distance in their scores. Then their scores became closer, making you think that Jeonghan's team could have a chance in the 9th inning which was so suspenseful. I enjoyed this episode so much and it's evident that Sebongs did too. Amazing dancers, vocals, rappers and athletes too. Seventeen, quit being so perfect.

He's a force to be reckoned with but he's so soft and sweet that he lets the others have their way a lot. But he strikes me as someone who's incredibly competitive still and if he sets his mind on winning something, he'll fight harder than anyone 🩷

I'm a baby carat and i already watch almost all of going seventeen eps. And watching this one makes me so happy coz Vernon + Mingyu team finally won😭

This episode: - Dino's hilarious water ball and Left and Right items (his headband is also really cute) - Seungkwan being a Competitive Boi and doing an amazing catch and roll. - Dokyeom catching so many balls and running so funnily in the flippers - Minghao being an oblivious umpire and then just leaving to look at birds - Mingyu catching that last ball and playing well even in that dino suit - Wonwoo moving like they have never seen before - Woozi and his awesome bunting that started a trend - Jeonghan looking so handsome with his hair tied up - Josh and his easy confidence and encouragement - Vernon being cunning when getting Woozi out - Seungcheol being Mr Please Smile and part of flipper bros with Dokyeom - Jun and his little "let's start" every pitch, and the budam (pressure) joke - Hoshi laughing at Chan's water ball and telling Jeonghan to choose him next time

The8's actually a really good umpire here. He understands wether it's a strike, ball, foul or out without someone pointing it out before him.

Mingyu's team has the best team work. And that quick meeting is so so cute. They're really serious in every episodes🤣 mingyu's team is the best team formed I've seen so far in gose

This is the main reason why their fandom(CARATs) is such a healthy fandom. The idols themselves are very kind and caring to everyone.

Dino was so cute 😭 He definitely deserved mvp

There's something so satisfying about watching the maknae team win despite having almost all odds against them. They were fighting head to head with the more competitive and generally more athletic members plus the amount of unfair umpire calls (not blaming anyone btw, just pointing out the coincidence). I really admire Vernon's team for being so positive, encouraging, and being a good sport to each other!

@@blue7609 hello. i just wanna correct you on that matter re: s.coups desperately calling (or shouting, based on your perspective) for shua. if you replay at 18:26, you can see that shua didn't step on the base, hence gose pd-nim called the attention of scoups in the next scene, probably reminding him that shua needs to step on the base to officially score a run. :) s.coup's action was understandable. desperate times call for desperate measures. plus their team's efforts might be put into waste if it wasn't for that "shua, come here." and it's not like they're causing each other harm hehe. they are competitive people trying to win and enjoy a competitive game. remember what wonu said after that, "things get heated when playing sports." so, yeah... i hope we continue to watch gose with as much delight as sebongs and the gose team work hard in creating entertaining contents for carats and non-fans alike. fighting!

@@blue7609 i agree with you about Vernon’s team but i disagree when u said Scoups team is acting obnoxious. They’re just being competitive and Scoups shouting at Shua is just out of desperation because they’re losing and they’ll lose other points if Shua didn’t step on the home base. You can clearly see that Scoups team is anxious at times and they admitted themselves that they got emotional but laugh about it after tho yet after that they still being playful and laughing with each other. Not saying that fans who got annoyed at Scoups and Jeonghan competitive side in GoSe isn’t valid but again its just a show and we know at the end of the day they know about each other more than us and the GoSe team even Hoshi and Wonwoo always remind us that “Don’t take everything seriously, its just a show”. Seventeen is Seventeen with their competitive complains-a lot side and always-positive-fair-play side AND thats what make it so entertaining to watch them just being themselves in GoSe. Plus they have always been this way since predebut.

If i remember correctly, the umpire gave his verdicts in favour of Dino's team many times in the first ep. Also Vernon himself was quite strict with fouls, so i don't think there was any unfair judgement by the umpire (taking into account that Minghao literally had no clue about umpiring)

This is one of my most favorite episodes of going seventeen. We all know that they are great singers/rappers and performers but believe me their RELATIONSHIP/BOND is on another level too. The way they cheer, support and comfort each other really melts my heart 😭❤

it's so endearing how vernon's team keep on consoling and encouraging jun up, jun was so hesitant and lacked confidence but he played really well, he was pitcher for almost all their defensive innings and that says something mingyu literally saved his team here, in more ways than one, he didn't just scored runs, he guided them to win dk is such an angel, not losing his signature smile and optimism, he also played really well and is their team's most reliable defense, even matching seungkwan who is the best defender

Can’t agree more! I am especially impressed by Vernon saying “Don’t say sorry” or “Nevermind” all the time to his team members. He’s indeed a very good leader!

I was the one who was most happy with this Vernon's team victory, no matter how weak Vernon's team was in the beginning, I supported them from beginning to end..specially bcz of DK..He is the only one I noticed worked very hard to cheer the members and he is the big strength for the team... * Honestly the only reason for this win is, DK's encouragement, support, strength and cheer the members...The beginning failed but in the end it was won bcz of DK's cheer and relentless effort..

I adore Vernon's team. The way they were miles behind last episode, but they turned it around. Also, they kept supporting and cheering each other up. It was so nice to watch 💙

Yep. Mingyu and DK athletic tandem is indeed underrated.

Jeonghan's team must be feeling the pressure, because the team is full of aces who are good in sports. But vernon's team can adapt well during the game and stay calm so they can play better and catch up the score. Anw it's always fun to watch seventeen with sports theme, love their competitive spirit. Yeah well even though they are always competitive in any game.

@@hehe7071 Jeonghan (he's really good at sports but his stamina is one of the lowest in the group so he usually slows down during like the second half of a game), Mingyu (he's honestly just good at everything, idk how, that's why he's usually the one picked first when they divide teams for sports game), Seungcheol, Seungkwan, Woozi. Those are like the overall sports aces. Sometimes DK also does well, also Dino and Hoshi, but they're not as consistent as the aces on when they do well or not. On the other hand, Wonwoo, The8, and Jun usually don't play sports games that much. But it's so endearing to see the members keep on praising them and saying "it's okay" when they make mistakes cause those moments are rare for them to join in on the sports games. 😊❤

@@karen6743 I think DK is on par with seungkwan and woozi, he’s pretty consistent. Hoshi does not play ball games that much but he’s good sometimes, just like dino. On the other hand it’s true that wonwoo, jun, the8 just don’t have that much interest at playing ball games/sports in general.

DK is so competitve when it comes to a ball game he is passionate about. IT IS ACTUALLY SO NICE TO SEE

Mingyu and Dk in one team kicking ass of the opponent team is what gives me the most thrill! My heart was beating like crazy during the last two innings. Damn! What a game...My dinner went cold but I kept watching the game LOL Also, this episode really shows that Dino is the maknae (he was SOOOO cute while dancing lol).. Jeonghan letting him go for not dancing while running and members making him the MVP although Dk, Mingyu and Seungkwan were pretty deserving candidates, Mingyu, more so because he was so good at everything throughout the game.

1:31 Mingyu running with the Dino hend bent backwards was so funny. 😂 They really made a mistake giving Mingyu the dino costume because it didn’t hold him back like the flippers. Meanwhile, it was a good decision giving the dino costume to Seungkwan because he was the best at catching the ball

Let's talk about Hoshi at 15:26 telling Jeonghan that he is pretty good at playing and to choose him next time 🥺my heart can't stand itttttt, they're my biases 😭🤍

He is moon junhui that everyone love. because he didn't want to trouble his teammates, so he tried really hard. And he did it. With cute and cool way. So proud of you moon jun my cutest boy ever...

12:41 We need to talk about the fact that Juni struck out both Scoups and Jeonghan here 🤯 Very few members struck out (and usually it was due to poor kicks like Seungkwan anticipating too far ahead), but the sequence of pitches here from Jun are just chef's kiss!

i love how vernon's team was positive and supported each other throughout the game! my fav moments: 4:44 ~ when mingyu did a home run while wearing a dino suit. (while hoshi and vernon successfully return to homebase, giving their team 2 more points) 23:11 ~ when dino successfully kicked the water ball when no one else can. (and caused their team to score 2 points) 6:54 ~ when vernon's team scored 3 points straight 34:28 ~ dk ending the game with a great catch. 20:28 - 20:44 ~ dk catching the ball 3 times in a row. i'd really like to see this team/unit again someday!! everyone really did great!!
