For me it's that when I'm not on the pill, my periods make my life close to unlivable. It becomes a circle of feeling shit, recuperating, and feeling like shit again. It's maybe entitled but I just want to live my life without it constantly revolving around managing my period.

100% i am the same. I half a half week of pre-cramps, week of cramps and half week of post-cramps. That’s two weeks of debilitating cramps. That’s half my life in debilitating pain. If it's just due to excessive sebum production and you don't have really bad acne, you can improve by washing your back with those face washers for oily skin with 1 or 2% of salycilic acid, you can apply once a week a green clay mask that helps take out excessive sebum and is anti inflammatory too and always apply some light hydrating non greasy lotion to provide sufficient hydration, so the sebum glands won't work like crazy to replenish the sebum you took off. Personally I had hard time finding a good lotion for greasy skin, so in the meanwhile I used 96% aloe gel. Well, it didn't completely magical cure 'em, but it helped a lot to contain it and you just have to hold on till your hormones restabilize. The pill changes 60% of all normal chimical process in your body, so it might take some months to go back to normal.

After 4 years, I had lumps under the skin where I used to apply patches on my back, my anxiety was through the roof, I gained weight, doctors tried to prescribe me with antidepressants and misdiagnosed me 6 times! For far too many women begin birth control simply wanting relief and are given the pill to mask the symptoms of hormone imbalance and pain/issues related to the reproductive system.synthetic hormones tricking our bodies and covering up the symptoms only to worsen them over time and completely destroy our bodies natural hormonal balance after years of years. Some women can’t even tolerate the introduction of the synthetic hormones that disrupt the bodys balance of hormones.this is because their bodies have found homeostasis and is struggling to regulate hormone it didn’t make.the pill made me suicidal the first. I needed a 10th of the dose.and even then it only masked the symptoms and made my period irregular.been off for over 3yrs and have noticed I feel more like myself every year without it.this is jus to say if u are thinking of the pill PLS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KNOW WHAT UR DOING IS WORTH THE MOUNTAIN RISKS for u and consider other forms of hormone therapy, homeopathic medicine(red raspberry leaf is amazing for cramps),be gay or jus buy fuckin condoms instead of rewriting ur internal chemistry lol.
