Oh Jack, watching you, Gabby and Tilly is an absolute joy, it really is,so thankyou. Im thinking of selling up and taking the plunge, so to speak ❤

At the moment its lunchtime and im sat in bed watching youtube! Thinking about getting a narrowboat. Ive been in this position for about 5 year's. I just need a shove 🌿

That's a great idea. I (Gabby) did start a journal with updates as we went.... need to crack it back out, it got tucked away in the chaos!

Sorry for laughing at your expense Jack, but the drone hitting a tree & taking a bath made me LOL. I now have that image in my head. I have a feeling I will be having a few more giggles during the week. Not so good that you had to retrieve it. Glad you got the walls finished in the bathroom. Hi I absolutely love you guys you both reminded me of me and my wife 50 years ago when we moved into are first home I had to learn about joinery painting gardening and everything that goes with building together a new home so Jack you will both get there and you will look back with your family and say we did that God luck I hope some day I hope we can meet😊

Ah thanks guys 🎉 oh my goodness yes... bound to happen at one point though. Luckily the little mark is on the canal side not towpath side where we're moored so we don't have to be reminded of it daily 🤣🤣 hope you're both good X

Renovations! I find when reaching the point you have, pick 1 project/section so, you can tick that off as COMPLETED 😻That gives you the boost you need to stare down the rest of those jobs. GL :)

I really admire what you are both trying to do regarding the build but you now have to be realistic and not feel bad about it. When you work it out you are still doing really well so be proud of what you have managed to achieve with recycling/upcycling, but you have no choice regarding some things baby is changing, think of it this way, the less time you spend on laundry the more time you free up to spend enriching baby's life x

Oh thanks so much Karen, and very true! We'll keep trying to stay as reclaimed as possible - but with the clock ticking until December we do need to crack on! X

Jack, you are very soon going to be a new father so you are bound to feel a bit overwhelmed with the things that you need to do. Dude…. You are doing something that most people wouldn’t be able to do or have the patience to do,building out a Boat is not exactly your normal DIY . What you are doing is planning and building as you go along,fettling where you need to and constantly replanning,your doing a Grand Job so give yourself a bloody good Pat on the Back. It’s pretty amazing how much you and Gabby have accomplished so far and eventually it will all be finished,just take each job as it comes and try not to rush through the process,take your time and take the occasional breather from it all. Sometimes it’s better to take a step back and take a break and look at what you have accomplished 🤷‍♂️. I think all of us are pretty amazed at what you both have achieved in quite a short period of time but you have done it all yourself just the 3 of you ( Baby is probably already getting ready to help with the DIY,you can’t beat the smell of freshly cut wood ). Fingers crossed that the Drone is OK but I think you might be able to claim on Home Insurance if it doesn’t work. Definitely start learning to clean up after yourself Jack, you are going to be needing the Vice of cleanliness especially when the Baby is here,tidying up as you go along is a necessity ( one minute everything will be clean and before you realise you are up to your knees in stuff !. Definitely going to need a washing machine with a Baby,are you going to be rigging up a Rainwater collection system for water for washing/showers and the washing up etc ?. Rain water is especially kind to Babies Skin rather than the water that may be hard/soft from your water Tank,should save you a ton of visits to get your water tank filled up as well 🤷‍♂️. Are you going to be fitting any sort of Air Conditioning system on your Boat ?. You can get portable ones I believe that a lot of Ocean going Boats use….. I’m only saying because obviously Babies can’t regulate their own Body Temperature when they are young so it is important to keep them cool and you were saying that your Boat got like a furnace in the Heatwave that we had and maybe we will be getting more heat like that next year ( when Baby will be a few months old ). Babies are fine when they get Cold but they can overheat extremely easily. Another Great Video ❤

Why have not fenders on the boat ?

What finally happened with the boat crash and did you at least go and say something to the other boat person? What about the drone? Is this all coming out in your next video? I guessed you'd do as many jobs as you could which is cheating a bit on the guessing isn't it ?! That was a bit of a thump the hire boat gave Arti, grrrr. You're doing great, sometimes it's not possible to use recycled but just do your best & you can't do any better than that can you. Most people don't even try. Keep enjoying growing Baby Tiny Life & whittling away at the jobs you need to do . X
