It's so sweet what he is doing for you, but trust me facing your fear only works if YOU decide to face it and purposefully do something. That's how you get the feeling you were stronger than your fear. Being oushed by other person can even make it worse sometimes.

Don’t worry about the sharks, they’re actually pretty chill, I went scuba diving with some nearby and I think they were more confused by us than anything else.

I have a fear of the ocean. Have done since I was 11 years old. A boy I knew who was 9 years old got stung by a jellyfish and died. It swam past me. I often wonder if it was because he was splashing me. Always blamed myself as I was the older one. Not been in or near the ocean since. I’m 34 this October.
