I feel like if nothing else, quarantine has taught people what is the center of their joy. For some, they realized being around people and socializing is the center of their joy. Others realized that being around their children and significant other is the center of their joy. Some realized being at the workplace is the center of their joy. For others, being able to go to church every weekend was the center of their joy. Realize what is the center of your joy. If quarantine and distancing is preventing you from experiencing joy, then reassess, rebalance. No one thing should be the only thing that brings us joy. There should be a number of things that give us joy. Whether it be cleaning, exercising, studying, snuggling, baking, praise and worship, sewing, gardening, whatever. Rebalance your center. I had to rebalance and make Jesus the center of my joy so that I could learn to find appreciation and joy in all things. It could be worse.

So some of the things you are saying, I have been doing. Throwing things out, brightening our bedroom, intermittent fasting, reading my devotions, praying and exercising. I feel so good 😊. Our home stays clean, and smells good.

I needed to hear this, I've been in a funk but I'm going to pick myself up. Give thanks to GOD and clean my dirty ass house 😂☺

You're so right. The pandemic hit after I had my second daughter. I was a stay at home mom so I cleaned a lot 😃 did a lot of projects and then I decided to lose weight. I found my enjoyment of self care and peace again. Plus I'm like you I was prepared for this because I like being in the house

This video helped me get up and get myself n my place all the way together. I am one that believes in the importance of self care and it is true that developing a routine like getting up and not jusy letting the day go by is so important. This life is meant to be lived and God has given each of us a purpose. I restarted my health and fitness journey this month but this weekend I started to feel blah n eating junk again so i was feeling a little unmotivated but I know I have to stick to my routine.
