Katie was painted as the villain in the relationship and probably internalized a lot of it. We saw pieces of the real Schwartz starting to come thru, starting with how he treated her when they pranked Jax. She's endured so much more than we could ever realize. I cannot wait to hear the rest of her story, after she meets and falls in love with a real man.

He most certainly did! Said he didn’t want Katie’s input in the bar! Her husband & success of bar were a financial importance! Their house, their bank account, their credit score. Sandoval just wanted his biatch boy Schwartz to shut her out. Puppet Master! Partying came first. Perpetual childhood & they never matured.

I've followed VPR for years and I've always felt Tom S never had Katie's back. I understand she can be a hard personality at times but it never felt like he was her "person" like she was for him. I'm excited to see Katie move forward and find someone who will be all in for her.

Tom Schwartz was/is more concerned with being liked by others than having his wife's back. And the times he yelled at her in front of others, so wrong!!!!! When Katie has a strong man by her side, her energy will change and she won't always feel like she has to stick up for herself bc she will know she has a true partner. Schwartz was not a good husband to her at all. In one episode when she said we’re married you should support me he said it’s just a piece of paper. Katie stands firmly in her opinion with little to no budge, which Schwartz was unwilling to do. They both hurt each other, but instead of Schwartz trying to stand up for himself, he would be passive aggressive, get drunk, & then cheat on her. It is best that they are looking at a life that didn't include needing the other person to change.

And I know in my own life, my husband can do something to piss me off and I’m still mad about it later because he just pretended it away and then he’s so confused and wondering why on earth I’M creating a rift that moment even though I KNOW he did lol. I honestly think Rachel and Tom have been sleeping together for a long time, like way longer than they claim! I think their affair is the reason James and Rachel broke up. If you go back and rewatch last seasons reunion when Rachel announces that they are breaking up, Tom looks so fucking nervous like he’s afraid she’s about out their relationship!!

I have been rewatching VPR from when Raquel came on and I DEFINITELY think that she and Sandoval have been sleeping together a LOT longer than they are admitting to !! Before she left James, they said they didn’t have sex for over a YEAR! Same for Tom and Ariana, they weren’t intimate for a very long time. Just watching the way Sandoval defended Raquel, the fact that he gave Janes $12k for “their engagement,” 🤔 🤔 I believe that’s the reason that she called off the engagement! But we’ll probably never knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I think Schwartz one true loyalty is and has always been to Sandoval, and Katie is still giving this guy more grace than he deserves. It doesn't matter what he says, it appears that his loyalty to Sandoval came at the expense of Ariana. Ariana even unfollowed him so I don't think he had even supported her through. Probably hiding and avoiding conflict somewhere. As always. It's tough to respect someone like that. He's not good friend material to anyone but one person.

Watching the scene of James and Ariana, if you watch closely Rachel gets up and leaves the table and Tom follows shortly behind. My mouth dropped!!!

I’ve always loved Katie. And I hated how the show sometimes portrayed her. Sandoval was always SO involved in her marriage, way more than he should’ve EVER been. Side note- seeing Katie in that cardigan… makes me love her even more to know that she’s a Swiftie!

I’ve fallen so in love with Katie. Glad to see her shine!

I feel like two things can be true at once, Schwartz and Katie were both heroes and villains in their relationship. He's spineless, and she's mean-spirited.

Schwartz is just as guilty as Tom Sandervol because he was part of hiding this whole affair. He is even participated in it when he had double dates with them. I have lost all respect with both of them and if their business suffers because of their reputations all well!

How? I see it as the opposite. She wants to go by Rachel now, as if symbolic of her being more real/rebranding herself, so continuing to call her Raquel, which is how she was always known to all of the cast, would be more “disrespectful” as it would be denying this fake rebrand and acknowledging her for all of her behaviour/denying her wish of being called Rachel now.

omg i never knew she was a capricorn. as a fellow capricorn, i wasn’t her biggest fan pre divorce but i’m really starting to understand her now. also seeing her in this setting, she seems very chill, level headed and more mature. you can tell she’s grown and reflected a lot post-divorce

I stopped watching VPR in season 3. I did not like Katie at all. I went and watched season 9 & am watching season 10. I believe 💯 T Sw is in the wrong. Hitched his wagon to T San when he should have been putting his time and resources towards his marriage. I hope Katie finds peace & happiness.

Katie seems actually content and happy..of course she misses Tom, but he kept her in turmoil always he playing doormat to the other Tom then when Katie tries to push him to be a man, he turns on her snd takes the other side, its bizzare...he's a people pleaser, doesn't want conflict except with Katie..He will take this to his future relationships

I feel bad for Katie and how she endured all the hurt she experienced. She has to be so disappointed in Schwartz with how he was the cover up for all of this. It's just mean the minute Schwartz found all this out he needed to be a man and act like 1 and go to Arianna and say something! I think Katie kept her cool but she must be so hurt herself. I really think it's Schwartz in his mind thought it was exciting and he just wanted to have fun and since Katie was the one who asked for their divorce and his dad was sick he just needed a fun distraction. Katie didn't deserve half the things that Schwartz did to her!

Or Scheana such a backstabbing b itch..She was never that close to Swartz. She wanted screen time and hurting Katie was a perk. Katie became friends of Scheana and cost her relationship with Stassi actually she became a better person without toxic Stassi. Must admit Scheana gave " its my birthday vibes" of Stassi.

Apparently he often would go out partying and not come home . Then next day say he spent night out at a friends . Acted like teenager telling his mom. My 24 year old son lives with his gf , been about 2 plus years. He would never do that to her.

I’m loving the person Katie is becoming. She’s unapologetically herself and I aspire to be as comfortable and cool in my skin as she seems to be in hers. We should all want to hear more from her.

Very happy to see Katie is doing good. I've always seen that she was more invested in her relationship with Schwartz than he was invested in her. I honestly think Tom kind of hated Katie and just stayed with her because he was a bum. He needed the stability and finances that Katie brought. Also if it wasn't for Katie he would have barely been on the show in the beginning. I also think Schwartz going for Raquel was not only just a way to piss of Katie but he and the other Tom will do ANYTHING for more attention.

On another note......I think Katie could rock a short hair cut with her perfect face!!
