Going back to the X100T.

I got out with the X100T this past week, and I have to say that I love this camera lol. From it's easy customization and image quality, to it's simply beautiful build, this is a classic camera for sure.
On the flipside, it's kind of expensive at the moment, so I'd consider waiting for the price to come down; the camera is "Tik-Tok" famous at the moment, but that wave will settle soon. There's also speculation to a new X100 in the near future, so if you're like me, you'll just wait until that release to get the older gear (which will be cheaper by then lol).

That's the issue with some Fujis, re the price coming down, don't anticipate it will! Especially those X100 of w/e iteration, they seem to be keeping their price really well, even on sites like MPB. People getting into Fuji should look at the early X-Pros or something like the X-E2. They're way cheaper plus they are interchangeable lens cameras, which for me is a real bonus. Great video mate, looking forward to watching more in '24!

I think the X100T is the last of the X100 series to be made in Japan. All the newer X100 models are made in China.

I love your reviews my man, it's so hard to find unpretentious reviewers such as yourself. Too many cameras reviewers think their shit is "high art" and demo a camera by taking the most joyless photos I've ever seen.

I sincerely appreciate the comment! There's nothing worse than a Gear review channel forcing a 10 minute, ad maxed out, and affiliate ad riddled "review." That said, you won't see me doing a ray con plug anytime soon haha

Came in from the review of the Camp Snap camera. Wanting a camera that wasn't too 'in your face' especially for camera shy friends. I stayed because I love your cozy reviews on gear you've picked up. Cheers to a year of more photos.

Great review, Always wanted to get into Fuji cameras, but the cost has been so high! When you find a camera that works well, feels right and make it fun to use... go for it regardless of the brand! Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas Matt!

Always appreciate your support and comments! I remember being able to find fujis much cheaper just a year or two ago when making some videos on them (although they have usually been on the higher side of prices). It's hard to find even their first model cameras (x100 or xpro 1) for under 500 dollars these days!

Eb and flow… demand for any system goes up and down. Fuji will come down eventually, it’s just a waiting game. Just look at Leica, the M9 routinely sold around 2-3k but just dipping to around just under 2k now if you hunt around. When a new ‘must have’ camera comes out, the prices will dip again.
