If you wants to go back after finishing Undergrad or MS here, then no issues. If you want to work here then it seems tougher now a days. Main reason is around 350 to 400k Indian students are coming every year. But H1 visas available are around 70k only, major portion of it goes to those coming from India with experience. If you don't get through lottery system from that year quota, you will endup going back home or you will enroll for another Degree just to stay here. Few may find girls already working here and can marry them. There are millions of Indians who came here in 80's and 90's, their kids are now in colleges or just finishing. You see many deshi kids born and brought up here is another option to get marry, but unless you are smart, sharp with open mind, you can't have same mind set as those kids. But, I do see some are marrying here. Options are there but not for those many coming. Best thing is opt countries like Japan where you may face language issue, but can learn

This is the opportunity for me to pursue my masters in IT goal and career shift where I can achieve. At the moment i am not bothered about PR, may be I will chase around that once I get job there. Doesn’t matter as the ground reality changes every 2 years. If I ask help from a person who moved to Australia before 15 years, then he would say to finish my masters and I’ll easily get PR. This isn’t the reality. Once you get your PR, and enter a new phase, your problem’s upgrade into new version. I moved here 7 years ago and got my PR. Now I do t follow up and read about new visa rules. So, 12-15 years isn’t a credibility check uncle.

It is a very big Drama,,, All these kind of layoff news in software sector are completely false,, majority of Indian IT employees are receiving tremendous salary packages and enjoying a very rich luxurious life.
