Even tho the 3D style is not my for me i still enjoyed it and the visual effects are probably the best i've seen on DB

Stronger than ui. And also gohan said he was training in secret and on the side. Not to mention piccolo wishing for their latent potential to be released. Jn addition to the fact simce z gohan was always meant to be the strongest and was stated multiple times by goku to have more latent potential than even him. Not too far fetched
