I think that is why they gave Kong that hatchet. As we learned from the battle in the Pacific, even with jetfighters helping him, Kong is not much of a match for Godzilla. So to even the match up they gave Kong a hatchet that was not only sharp enough, strong enough to cut into Godzilla's strong hide but also could be used as a shield.

You just pointed out a massive flaw in this video. The channel acknowledges the history of Godzilla from his movies and comics, yet only references Kong's history from one movie "Kong: Skull Island". This made the whole battle pathetic. If you knew anything about Kong, you'd know in the original Kong vs Godzilla movie (which Kong won in, btw) Kong can harness and transfer lightening. Couple that with the fact he can use weapons/shields made out of anything from a ship to a building, I'd say that puts him at good odds. And seeing as Godzilla has to charge up his breath and after using it, needs time to recharge it, whereas Kong can keep using his weapons, I don't see your comment being very substantial anymore.

@@JBrotsis1 Bro Kong’s electrical powers weren’t meant for him, they were meant for Frankenstein and also Kong barely won that previous fight, he had to have plot armor to save him and also that fight was now confirmed to be a draw by Toho, and also this is not part of the original series of Godzilla films, and Kong was confirmed not to have lightning powers, the best thing he has is tool craftsmanship, which he would use to create an axe

This was spot on lol. When they battled on water, Godzilla destroyed kong. When they battled on land I’d say it was even with maybe kong having a slight edge but even then Godzilla still manage to get the axe away and almost killed him. Godzilla clearly won in the battles but the best thing I took from this movie wasn’t even who was gonna win against the two cause I got so absorbed by everything that was happening so when the ending came and everything played out, the last thing I was thinking was who was gonna win. THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT MAN.

If the people did restart his heart Kong would have die, no question. Meanwhile Godzilla got headshot by the axe, which was the only thing that could do real damage to him, and still got back up with if anything a major headache

i think the nuke thing is only one time mode. godzilla could do only do it by mothras sacrifice and the humans blew up a nuke in godzillas face, since it was water the radiation was slower making it easier to absorb. godzilla would have to wait until the humans blow up a nuke on its face to go nuke mode.

Anyone notice in the movie they did the Avengers scene where Kongs Axe clashes with Godzillas beam. Reminded me of when Thor flew into the air and slammed Mjolnir into Caps shield lol

These analysis videos are great. But I'd love to see you guys handle the match-up of all Kaiju match-ups. One that would see if massive experience in defeating/killing kaiju would trump the Big G's overall abilities. I'm talking about the hero of Planet M78, the intra-galactic peacekeeping giant hero, who I believe could give Godzilla a run for his money. Please make a future video be a showdown between Godzilla and Ultraman.

Exactly like it because people always argue Batman and they're only argument is "he's batman" when in reality superman could bitchslap him out of existence. People use the same argument with Kong. Plus they seriously downplay Godzilla and just remove all previous established stats and whatnot.

Kong, the banana tree eater, was every bit the killing machine in the 1933 and 2005 films as he was in 2017 or will be in 2021. The only Kong film where he truly seemed to have a pacifist side was the 1976 film where his violent reactions were totally in response to human provocation.

hes more fun to watch. Godzilla is big slow and dumpy. Hes almost always shrowded in some manner, so you cant ever really see him, which is lame. Kongs fighting style is also more fun to watch, its not just clunky punch and then laserbeam.
