It is so cool that this is Ebirah’s time to truly shine even if it’s not in a Godzilla subsidiary whatsoever. And he’s actually pretty cleverly designed as a crustacean. He has a main claw for grasping and crushing, and another claw more for stabbing and punching.

Lol Ebirah thought he's Destoroyah. Atleast both are Crustaceans.

Why did Godzilla go burning form... for Ebirah. Y'know, the same Ebirah who he made into seafood scampi? If it were someone like Daghara, Destoroyah, Ghidorah, or even SpaceGodzilla, I would understand, but he doesn't need burning form for Ebirah.

When Godzilla showed up, Miki said that the Blue Hole's energy caused Godzilla to overload and thus forced into Burning state, it also healed his wounds as well. So it isn't that Godzilla needed the power up, but because he is so charged up he need to let the excess out. The giant lobster is just the poor bastard that happened to be in his line of sight.
