I may be more of a Kiryu fan, but Heisei MechaGodzilla holds a special place in my heart because that was the first incarnation of MechaGodzilla that I was ever introduced to as a kid. I basically grew up with that incarnation.

The thing about Kiryu is he was made from the bones of the 1954 Godzilla. The One that started all Godzilla films. Including others like Rodan, Mothra, Vartan. Ghidorah The three headed monster. This Ghidorah was from the Showa Era of the Godzilla movies. And Kiryu is pronounced Ke‐(r)-yu the (r) is silent.
