This song is named after "The Butcher of Bosnia". Ratko Mladic was a Bosnian Serb general of the VRS who spearheaded horrifying genocide during the Yugoslav wars. This includes the mass execution of 8300 civilians in the Srebrenica massacre.
You can NEVER put this on a full volume enough. I just want this track to forever violate my eardrums.
If you can, with whatever money you have, try to see them perform this live, in person.

Every part of this song is important to the piece as a whole, the quieter parts are just as masterful as the explosion of guitars and drums.
I read the comments before listening and I'm glad that I did cause I stopped the song and I'm waiting to get home to my sound system and enjoy what I imagine to be a great experience. I'll update with how I felt UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: I have transcended all there is. I can smell sounds and I can count in log base 12. This is how it feels marching through the streets of Baghdad, past midday, when the sun is at its peak spilling gluey inferno in your skull while puffing the dense and harsh dust of years of wars and conflicts breathing through dry cracks of the ground you step in rapturous vertigo till you collapse in post-orgasmic delirium disorder. I saw them at The Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, TN. They started their set with about 15 minutes of droning noises (some of the noises were pre-recorded and started before anyone was even on the stage), which eventually went into Mladic. They also played Moya, their newest song (which has been labeled "Behemoth" on the interwebs), another seemingly endless array of droning noises (which I thought was amazing), and ended the set with Gathering Storm. The show was absolutely incredible and LOUD!
Yesterday, Mladic was finally convicted of organizing the Bosnian Muslim genocide, a sincere apology to our friends in Bosnia for supporting the Serbs during this period. This does not mean that the bombing of Serb civilians is not a crime against humanity and should have been condemned as well. peace in the whole world. dimi from Athens.
