Godsmack is one of the few big bands out of the 90's that has maintained the same play style throughout their entire career. No matter if you haven't listened since the self titled album, or listened like me up through IV, you can still hear their play style and know it's them.

My husband watched them at memphis in may he cliams its still the best live show he's ever seen.

I would have to agree with your husband. I saw them for the first time Oct.2019, right before COVID shut shit down. The energy and sound that comes from this band is palpable!

I 59, heard some of the best, Woodstock, I was 10. From there, many many summerfest, outdoor parties like Woodstock but on a smaller scale. Live bands. You never get too old to jam old!!! Yeah the ringing in the ears sucks, but that's why you turn that shit up louder!!! Party on people!!! PEACE!!!✌✌✌✌✌

SunnyNutQueerios Well, there are usually two or three genres and several stupid sub genres that would fit into a persons liking! The stupid sub genre thing has gotten to be a joke! Is it really that big of a deal to throw a band into such a specific style of music which in all reality mislabels a good portion of the bands out there! I mean when you get so specific as to what sound/style goes into a "sub" category that bands can't ever figure out what label they should be placed other because they try all the ideas they think will sound good! Then, you have the fact that when a band changes up their style a little bit the fans get outraged! It's like they think the band doesn't get tired of the same thing themselves,like the band BFMV said themselves that when the album Temper Temper came out that they were getting to the point were they weren't really enjoying the music like they should be because it was like doing the same thing again which was why they approached Temper Temper with a different angle! As usual, the "fans" were bitching all over the comment section saying they were sell outs and such just because the album was a little bit different!

11 years since their last good effort - and this album is pretty good. The first half is especially good, the first 3 tracks are awesome. And "Something Different" is incredible. Still, the album is not as powerful as "Faceless" or "Awake" but it's good. Don't just whine because it's not "Faceless II". Take it for a spin and listen with something besides your ass and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

I just love this song. I have goosebumps when i listen it. Especially in the car leaving from work.

I was so excited when they opened with this song last month in Burgettstown, PA! It was amazing. Godsmack is a damn good band that only gets better with age. From their self tilted album to now with When Legends Rise, they kick ass.
