Okay Merg, I'll give you some advice: Since you have the double jump, you can explore more of the Crystal Peak and reach the top of Hallownest. There's something good on the top of the mountain. UPGRADE YOUR NAIL. I don't need to explain much of this one. Remember that Fog Canyon cave where the Voidgate prevented you from accessing Cornifer? There's another way to enter the Fog Canyon in the west part of the Forgotten Crossroads. I recommend exploring most of Deepnest first; there's an item that can fast travel without the use of the Stag. There are at least three more areas for you to discover in Hallownest -- one area has a secret that allows you to access the other, and the third area is necessary to get the true ending. And finally, the most important advice: **BUY ALL THE FRAGILE CHARMS. You'll need it for later.** (Also, the Grimmchild will get more cuter once all the flames are collected)

The area you found in the Resting Grounds contains messages by Kickstarter backers. Also, remember the area below the Dung Defender you opened. You'll want to return there later in the game. Leaving Godhome for later was definitely a good call.

God Home is more of something you can do when you beat the game. Go back and to the pantheons when you max out your Knight. Defenders Crest Changes various charms it changes Flukenest and Glowing Womb in an interesting way 3500 Geo in the fountain will reward you something great Equip a fragile Charm and talk to Divine. Talk to her 3 times for a new service. (DON’T WEAR FRAGILE GREED WHEN TALKING TO HER)

And the video starts with Godmaster background... Fitting. ...No offence that was the dumbest reason to not say why you weren't using nail arts. Listen to the stag when he's in Hidden Station. Remember the symbol on the gate next to Higher Beings tablet. It's basically the "keyhole" so when you find the "key" you'll know where to use it. 16:52 I completely missed her here on my first playthrough. Completely missed Dung Defender was there to chat with. Well that is the benefit of being a youtuber, you don't miss such stuff. I already know we in Discord are trying our absolute best to make sure you get one of the very easily missable encounters with very interesting and easy to understand lore. 25:57 Remember Relic Seeker Lemm mentioned "Five Great Knights"? Those are dung statues of them. Congratulations. You killed Flukemarm, the mother of all flukes. Every fluke you meet from here on out is a lonely orphan. Flukenest... Sigh... This charm was never balanced. First it was broken and overpowered, and now it's barely even a damage increase that's not worth the new notch cost. The term "God" is used loosely in the world of Hollow Knight. Its exact definition is a spoiler. Fair warning... Godhome is endgame content. Rewards for doing Godmaster content is always more challenge and sometimes help with said challenge. Although before Godmaster came out a reward was planned, "glorifying charms", although it was cut out before release without a word. And I was most excited about it... I to this day cannot beat a single pantheon with ALL bindings turned on at the same time... In fact this seems boring to me to be so limited. No joke, doing all bindings now you're as strong as you will be doing all bindings after getting every upgrade in the whole game. Nah, your nail isn't that weak, bosses had their HP buffed because they were so early in the game. I did call Godhome endgame content, but... If you're ever in the mood to challenge yourself, there is no reason to not go back to Godhome. 49:26 If you didn't beat Dungo yet, that tablet would hint where the lever is. So, you got Isma's Tear. And thus, you have all movement upgrades required to beat the game. ...There is still one movement upgrade left though. It's completely optional, but without it you can't travel across the entire kingdom. It's also great in combat. I still suggest you get it before the dreamers... One dreamer is an absolute pain to get to without the final movement upgrade. Shrine of Believers is full of backer messages. 1:06:14 Foreshadowing for the backer character... Infected Crossroads... Now you know why I wanted you to visit grubs. You have to go through Crossroads to see them ;p Yep the Infection is leaking from the Temple. My suggestion is feed Grimmchild more flames. There's a bigger reason why I want you to do it... But stronger Grimmchild is a better Grimmchild.

Back at it again with a lot of tips and fun facts! - Some characters have additional dialogue if you have certain charms equipped. It's usually fairly easy to tell; for example, a mushroom-based charm might give you more insight on a mushroom-based character. Defender's Crest in particular grants you a lot of additional dialogue from three(?) characters other than Lemm and Elderbug, although you haven't met one of them yet. - Don't forget about Divine! - The noises for Flukemarm were done by the same person who voiced Hornet. That's...something to think about. - Flukenest is an...interesting charm. It's powerful, but it can be difficult to get used to. It's best used at close range and on large enemies. - The bindings on the Pantheons are pure torture. You do get a reward for doing them, but it's very tedious and difficult to get. You probably figured this out already, but the Nail binding reduces the damage you deal with your nail, the Shell binding limits you to four masks, the Charms binding prevents you from using charms, and the Soul binding limits you to only 33% of your normal Soul. It's far easier (and faster!) to go without any of them, especially on your first few attempts. - Godhome is a very late-game area. I would recommend going back at or near the end of your playthrough, when you've gotten every upgrade and defeated (nearly) every boss. - I hate to say it, but you did actually miss one more thing in the area by Isma's Grove: The doorway up and slightly to the left. I suppose the thing it leads to isn't 100% necessary to see, but it is rather interesting! - If you gave a certain amount of money to Hollow Knight's Kickstarter back in 2014, you would get your name in the game, along with a short quote of your choice. That's what the Shrine of Believers is. You can destroy every plaque in the Shrine to get additional dialogue from the unnamed moth, but I personally don't think it's worth it. I don't even know what the dialogue is, I just never wanted to destroy them.

Doing all the boss rushes in a row can take a toll on you, make you resent the game. Better to experience the ordeal in bursts of defiance than in a marathon of martyrdom.

At 34:37 the top area you were in has a really hidden secret. There are little areas where the ceiling goes up. You can wall jump across those. On the third one you can break the roof and find the best secret in the game. If you can’t figure it out look up how to get to the eternal ordeal.
