Really bad design on the hotshoe mount
How does it work if v1s hotshoe replacment in place of godox v1c

You should use the a replacement for v1c. If you put a V1s replacement on a v1c, you definitely will loss ability to Use TTL as the internal wiring may be different. You could also damage the flash.
Please is it normal with a hotshoe broken, my V1 lights up but the buttons dont work (i cant use the menu, change mode…) ??

I didn’t have that issue. My buttons were still working. Your issue could be that the ribbon connecting the hotshoe could be broken or disconnected. I will check that first.
this is very frustrating, i just changed mine and it broke..now i have to send it back for a replacement.... I never had that with the nikon ones

It is very frustrating. I just head that the new versions now have metal mounts. But that doesn’t help those of us that have the older versions
I got an Xpro S trigger and I just used couple of months now the hotshoe is broken 😭😢😩

That sucks. I haven’t had one of those break on me yet. I have a broken x2t trigger though. Godox need to find a way to make these things more durable
