where did you put the remaining skill points?

Remember running a similar build on my Javazon back in the original but I had Shaftstop equipped, bul khatos rings, string of ears,, and I think Andy's for head. It was truly unstoppable!

I usually always make a bowazon, but really want to make a Javazon now in D2R! So far I just have a Frozen Orb Sorc and Summoning Druid lol. Javazons do so well in Cow runs!

Even better: treachery armor, proc fade in river of flame u get 60 all res for 5 min and it will refresh proc as u play. So u wouldn't need to stack charms for res. Also 45 ias

I rather have +skills, to much ias and I have to go back to town and repair me javs.

I had a javazon in the olden times and I mansged to max out lightening resistance and top up with absorb. The Dreaded MSLE (multi shot lightning enhanced) bossed was a snack for me when the actually healed me.

Perfect timing. I got Titan’s Revenge to drop the other day while farming NM Meph on my Necro 😁.

I’ve been using this character and I love it. I’m using an upped duriels shell socketed with a 13 all res jewel.

I played it over & over again but as a Casual gamer as I still am to this day? I could barely survive in Hell let alone just DISINTEGRATE! Diablo!?! LOL!... I’m building a budget versions. Currently lvl 54 nightmare. Using Lore 7 Dam Red Iron Pelt 17 DR added a socket and put in a Sol run for another +7 DR and also using string of ears belt to give an additional 11% damage reduction. She’s holding up pretty damn well so far. Can’t wait till I find all this gear tho to crush hell. Thanks for the build inspiration.

Added T gods belt for lightning absorb plus I’m using 1 dwarf star and 1 raven frost for the fire and cold absorb it really turns into a solid well rounded set up for lots of areas.

Been planning on switching my Amazon to this once I get to Hell with her, already have 2 Titans Revenges, I knew that was a phat drop as soon as I saw the stats.

I used this guide as a basis but tried to add more offensive gear. My current setup is Eth Matriarchal Titans, Shako socketed 15 ias/10 res jewel, Stormshield Socketed Um, Thundergod, Ravenfrost, generic Mana leech ring, Chains of Honor, and probably Cats Eye

The is close the the build I'm running and how a javazon should be played imo. Good guide! For those who wants to run it, it can be done cheaper. Replace Crown with craze/tal head socketed with a p topaz/um/sol. Skills+Res AMU Fcr/Res/IAS ring over soj Gloves I would go with 2/3/20 javas. It is still very very dependable on infinity. But they go down easy with a decent Merc and tunderstroke with jab. Good farming!

Dude don't pay attention to these fucking hypocrites.

UPDATE: With the current patch, Dodge, Avoid and Evade (DAE) is now worth spending points on. The reason for this is they buffed those 3 skills by *removing the animation* but retaining its dodge effects. WIth this current setup and the DAE skills, this will really be a Godly Invincible Javazon :)

@@HELL_HOUND13 Yes i have a build guide for it but it's specifically tailored towards a Hybrid PvP bowa/javazon. On that build, i put points into Dodge and Evade until it reaches 60% chance. For avoid, i put points until it reaches 69-70% chance. Of course you wouldn't reach all those percentages with a full javazon PvE build since it takes a lot of skill pts to synergize.

Hmm yes, I used this build back in the old days. Arguably my favorite build in the game.

I feel like I’m definitely going to respec to remove Valkyrie and dodge/evade/avoid. Valk is good for leveling up because you won’t have all your gear right away and your damage will suck because leveling a javazon is awful. It’s good to have something to take hits for you. And you’re right about dodge. The animation keeps you locked and all you can really do is try to run away. The dodge animation is too long and you can potentially take damage while waiting for the dodge animation to end. Nice build, subscribed 👍

Really great guide and looking forward to trying this. I am wondering how you deal with the Mana Cost being too much to throw 7-8 LF.s before you need to pot? My LF is lv 38, cost 28.5 mana per cast and I only have 225 max mana. Is there a MPK aspect I am missing?

This is also my fave class and build. Titan's Revenge plus Thundergod's Vigor is already a +7 to your Lightning Fury. This build is just overkill in almost all maps especially in Hell Cow levels.

damage when compared to a stacked blizz sorc or a mediocre hdin, is pretty terrible. BUT, it is probably a good gateway build in order to farm runes in cows and get a decent build eventually.

Switch tgod for razortail that is overkill, even if you have more skills 100 piercing is still is better, And I know from experience I own a 98 java on original

I've tried this build and showed my brother how fast i could kill even large groups. He plays a summon necromancer so i've got a good meat(or rather bone)shield that takes the damage while i can throw lightning. I haven't got a mercenary with infinity, so solo playing in hell difficulty is still kinda hard, when lightning resistent enemies show up.

Would love to see a level by level spec on where to put stats and which skills to take. I know you showed us endgame but the path to get there would also be nice/

In all my years of playing D2 I haven't really tried using an Amazon, I don't know, it just didn't click with me. Then D2R came out and these vid guides became more popular, so I tried a Lightning Fury/Charged Strike Javazon and my, oh my. This character is just so OP to the point that sometimes it makes the game boring. It's true you can play through out Hell naked and with just your 1 gold Javlin or an NPC weapon and still finish it. She clears mobs like it's nobody's business and takes down bosses like they're made of marshmallow. Very versatile with gear choices, you can configure her for offense, defense, MF or all of them at once. You can max out the build a little earlier at 50s or 60s when you max your CS and LF skills. Now, I actually decided to start from the beginning without using the shared stash and just self found gears on Players 7 or 8 to have some challenge. BTW, OSGS, I'm sure somebody said it already but you're like the Bob Ross of D2R. I watch your videos, sometimes just listen in the background to relax.

I found act 3 hell the first 3 zones pretty hard with all the lg immunes.....

With 2.4 is dodge evade avoid better now for this build so you can get Valkyrie? And is this build still just as awesome as before 2.4 or what would you change? Thanks Old School. Great content.

that’s not natural dodge, but the enemy missing their attack. The defense, attack rating, block rate is basically like a dice roll in TTRPG.

Cool build and some great ideas. Thanks for a well made and informative video! I wish they would patch D2R so the dodge and evade does not trigger the animation and just does it passively. They also talked about upping the melee damage of spears with Fend and Impale, so maybe things will change with the next patch. The one thing I disagree with you on is stacking defense on an Amazon. As you know, DEF drops to 0 whenever you are moving, and the Amazon is one of the most mobile heroes out there. She doesn't take hits like a melee paladin does, because that is not how you play that hero. I wouldn't bother upgrading defensive gear to higher levels, since the DEF does not matter, and only increases the STR/DEX requirements to equip. Instead of DEF, I would go the opposite and get gear that gives faster run and faster hit recovery. 99% of your "tank" comes from the other factors like damage reduction, % damage reduction, magic damage reduction, and your resistances/absorb. Still, great video, and thanks for sharing your ideas!

Oh, and one more thing.... not sure why you run with 2 rows of healing potions on your belt, since you are taking so little damage. I assume it is to heal your merc, when you SHIFT-click a potion. For that reason, you should have one row of full rejuv potions, so you can quickly heal your merc so he doesn't die, like he did in your video. You should also look at Blackhorn's face helmet for your merc as a budget option to keep him alive, as long as he is getting enough life leach from his other items, since that has some good lightning absorb and lightning enchented bosses won't kill your merc....

Great build. After the 2.4 change, will the Charged Strike in this build still supply enough damage? What about with 20 points in a single synergy? Also, something about Nagelring? It's from Battletech/MechWarrior.

Best build in the history of Diablo in my opinion. Looks cool, fun to play. Can handle all of hell. Doesn't look like a dumbass like the Hammerdin. Just ticks all the boxes and the itemisation is straight forward, making it easy to understand. Because of all the alternative gear options that you can drop into different slots it isn't frustrating to get her going and keep going with more gear to look forward to as you improve her over time. Too many builds are so gimmicky that you need very specific setups to make it work, or atleast they are built around one specific hard to get item and are simply too constrained. EDIT: Regarding Dodge, Avoid, and Evade. They have been revised: "The animation can now be interrupted and will no longer lock out the Amazon from performing other actions"

It makes sense honestly if your showcasing as many builds as he does at their highest potential given how long D2R has been out and I don’t think he uses it for all of his videos, but even if he does it has no bearing on how much I enjoy the videos or find them aesthetically pleasing.

treachery is a good option for a chestpiece on a budget. fade lets you get rid of res charms and use skillers

Nice build. Always liked the Fury-Javazon. Regarding the "Nagelring". In German "Nagel" (pronounced NAH'gel) means "nail" in english, so it might refer to a ring made out of it considering the low level requirement. XD

Vampire Gaze is another good helm alternative. This build seems to have no mana leach so the dual life/mana leach on Vamp Gaze could make for easier, lazier gameplay.

Beautyfull build, i have mine on the make... i guess if you stack dmg red and ress your vit suffer less... i will give it a test

he was talking about required skill placement, anything beyond that is just buffing up a bit extra. he also covered how alot of the gear is interchangeable.

I like to stack 3%frw/res small charms along with skiller gcs. I get an extra 30%frw just from doing that. It makes up for not using an enigma. I don't like skipping monsters with tele anyway. The more mobs you kill the better odds of hrs.

I just did a build like this on bNet last night: Gladiators Bane+Um Stormshield+Um Highlords Ravenfrost Dwarf Star Thundergods War Travelers SoulDrainers Max block 1000 or so life 125MF Helm- rare + 2 circlet with LL and 20% R/W. I’ll Probably switch to vampire gaze for more leech and DR. I’ll toss a Ptopaz Merc with the usual, andariels, Insight, and Treachery. Though I might switch to obedience since surprisingly I don’t think I’m having mana issues. I’m not sure if the obedience enchant bug is fixed. I keep demons arch/titans on weapon switch. Last night I hit up the halls of pain, I used demons arch + LF, also Jab. It easily handled lightning immunes. Close up- Jab them and it takes them down. Chaos runs were similar except I used titans more. Other than the merc, if you use JSP, this build is nothing and I had most of it, other than Gladiators Bane. Awesome video. My next hunt will be for- CoA with two topaz.

i have a relatively end game lightning jav... and i regret it. I can 2 second solo any boss in hell but, most of the mobs in hell are lightning resist. And your source of all damage is lightning. So its hella trash. Again, i do not recommend it. Its perfect for cows but thats about it.

@@chrispark5337 since upgrading the Java to the higher quality i can use physical damage to kill most lightning immune guys. Its the survival of the Amazon I love. I regret putting points down to the Valk because getting stuck in the dodge animation is really annoying.

Besides not having infinity, i have literal all end game jav light items. including eth titans. I cant freaking kill any decent mobs in hell cause most of them are lightning resist. Its up to u. I think its fun but is not rewarding compare to the funds and time you put into the character. I just made WW Barb and its the best. never Zav ever again
