God does not always give you complete pictures in visions. Sometimes he does these things to test us to see what we will do. Obey or disobey. This has happened to me many times. Recently for example I had publishers pressuring me to write my book. God said no not yet. Then recently he explained to me why. It was remarkable what he showed me. It was from an event that happened over 27 years ago. The evidence was there all along, only I had not picked up on it. I never ever ask God for signs only guidance. Remember Abraham was told to go and sacrifice his son. Only at the last second, he stops Abraham. It was because God was testing Abraham to see if he would be faithful to him.
