As far as I’m aware. Watching Steve Jones live, that’s pretty much what he plays.

In The Filth And The Fury, Jones demonstrates how he plays several SP tunes, then realizes he could be doing his own “How To Play Bullocks” video and stops. I’m pretty sure he bends that C# up to a D in the verses. Also not sure which version you’re using, but a few bars of the solo are missing.

@@Studio-62 That may well be the case. The solo is as long as the original; the phrasing is not note for note. I don't think Jones would ever play it the same twice.

Sounds right to my ears, I always played it with the barred A on fifth fret, which sounds wrong now compared to playing the open A at the nut. This is the best attempt I have have heard so far, covers all the important bits one one guitar, I imagine there will have been a few over dubs on the record to enhance the power of the riffs.
You’re playing too well. It’s played perfect but too perfect the Sex Pistoled couldn’t really and didn’t really give a fuck about player well. That’s what gives their music that rugged awesomeness drop the pinky and ring finger and slam that fuckin Pick across the strings and throw that gamma up to max 😂😂

They were very rugged. But actually Steve Jones was/is a really tight rhythm player. He has certainly never been that technical, but he can strum like a goodun!
